So price wise you can’t get much else to have Apple CarPlay in such a dated car. So I love how it connects wirelessly. You don’t have to launch it every key cycle. Set the audio to aux and you’re rolling. Cons, the touch pad being used still is touchy. But not a touch screen will do that to you. That’s a Lexus problem lol. Easy install. Super functional for daily use and the value is there. It’ll ride till the next car. Thanks for the great product!

My older Lexus RX did not come with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Lexus changed that in 2020 and higher models. The inbuilt navigation is good but is painstakingly long process to enter destination and select a bunch of options before finally getting the navigation to work. After a long lookout and talk with the dealership, I sought the retrofit from RoadTop. I purchased some car products from this seller before. I was quite content with their products and customer service. I did not look back when ordering this retrofit from this seller. Also, the price is reasonable as compared to some other sellers.I have never opened the car panels before, so the process seemed daunting. Fortunately, there are a bunch of video tutorials online. I followed them step by step. It took me couple of hours to get to the radio and assemble the retrofit. Before assembling the panels back, I checked if the retrofit was working. Press and hold the Menu button for a couple of seconds for it to kick start. Followed the prompts on my phone to connect them. Viola!! CarPlay on my beautiful 1080p screen.I have used my CarPlay for a few weeks now and it has worked well so far. Hopefully, it lasts longer without effecting or interrupting my main display.Long story short, if I can do it, so can you. Enjoy your new screen.
