I'm baking a LOT of sourdough for a fundraiser and needed more liners. When I received these, they looked like thin/mesh burlap fabric - not at all what I was expecting. Well, I needed them and was short on time so I gave them a try. I am so glad I did! I've had these for nearly 10 weeks, I'm washing them 3 times a week, and they are still going strong! Some have minor wrinkles/creases, but that does not affect the look of the bread. They have held their shape well, no stretching or shrinking either. They work well with my 8 and 9" baskets as well as a plastic bowl. I just dust with rice flour and no sticking. I've been baking 24 loaves a week (8 loaves 3x a week). To expedite this, I found 9" McCormick food storage containers+Lid at the Dollar Store - these liners fit PERFECTLY in these bowls! And even better, they're easily stackable in the fridge! Bread still bakes up a beautiful shape. To wash, I put them in mesh bags, machine wash in cold gentle cycle with just a tiny bit of All Clear&Free detergent, no fabric softener, and then run them thru the cycle agin with no detergent. I take them out of the mesh bags, shake them out, then dry in dryer on ultra low for 20 minutes.

These work exactly as expected. Properly contour to fit balls with good elastic to surround the rim. Great breathable fabric/light canvas that allows for slight drying and very light crust in a breathable Benton or other porous bowl or basket. So much better than any kind of HOME rigged solution for this. Perfect.

A necessary purchase for anyone baking bread (sourdough specific in my case) love that they can be thrown in the wash and are thick so tearing is not a worry!

Just what I needed for multiple sourdough loaves.

As you can see from my picture, I was bitten by the sourdough bug! I've been experimenting with different vessels for proofing and baking the bread. These baskets and liners/covers are perfect. They hold just the right amount of dough for a good-sized loaf. The covers let the dough breathe, but the dough doesn't dry out. Sometimes I leave them out on the countertop to rise, other times I tuck them into the fridge overnight. Either way, the loaves always come out perfectly formed and never over-proofed or shaggy. Definitely a good investment if you're going to be making any kind of bread. Also, the dough does NOT stick to the liner or cover!

Good number and solid quality. I don't tend to replace these as long as they are kept far away from water. These will last me a decade.

Bowl seems small but sturdy. Only received the bowl with cover and the scraper. No lame included which is what I needed the most so quite disappointed.

This was a gift for someone that was extremely well recieved. She is making beautiful bread now with all sorts of designs, I only wish it could make the bread turn out tasting better than hers does. :`)
