what direction to set and wind the watch didnt have instuctions thanks

In my experience, all mechanical watches from pocket to wrist. are this way.. but could be wrong. For this watch- Wind in a clockwise direction. Pull nub outward before turning to set. now for hand setting you turn "Counterclockwise" to set hands in "Clockwise" You MUST set time in clockwise direction (meaning hand movement) Remark: the spring mechanism in the watch is directional. meaning it can and will damage the spring to turn (hands) counterclockwise to set.

I don't think so. I threw my watch away after the wind stem broke out of warranty and bought a battery watch.
