Review: A good motor run capacitor for an Enerpac 10,000 PSI hydraulic pump - I was rebuilding a ~20-25 year old Enerpac 10,000 PSI hydraulic power pack, and checked both capacitors. After all those years, the USA made capacitor was testing at 33uF, so I decided to swap it out. This capacitor was a little smaller but fit fine within the capacitor cover on the side of the motor. It tested within spec out of the box. WIth that said, I doubt this capacitor will last as long as the older USA made capacitor. I couldn't find one that was easily sourced in the timeframe I needed it, so I selected this one. It works fine and will likely last years, but just know they're not made quite as good as they used to be.

I don’t know how much money I saved by replacing this part myself, but when the filter stopped working I expected to pay hundreds of dollars. I did a little research online, and decided to try to replace the capacitor since it was cheap, so I figured I’d give it a try. Worked like a dream! I just matched the specs from the old one for the order. The length was about a quarter inch longer, but the diameter was the same, so it would fit in the motor. When I tested it the motor came on! For under 15 bucks, you can’t beat it!
