It's tape! Sticky on one side and not on the other. Also, it's transparent, so you can see how good (or not) your tape job came out. Works as designed.

I like this tape as it's a higher quality tape that is thicker. It fits normal tape guns and is easy to use, especially if you need to find the end of the roll. It seems to adhere well and holds things together well.

The tape dispenser works very good. The included packing tape is not the best quality, breaks too easy; buy a better brand.
