Q: Will it work without the app? i don't have a smartphone. as long as it records to the sd card which i can pull out without any setup on the app

Hi, when you use it for the first time, you need to connect it with your phone for the camera to work. then, you can directly insert the memory card into the computer to view videos.

Q: For the front+rear option, will the front camera still work if I disconnect the rear camera sometimes?

Sorry. I do not know the answer. I just got mine in the mail today and have not installed it yet. Mine is front only. And if it works like any cams I’ve had in the past, both cameras should be independent of each other. Only an assumption on my part. Hopefully someone with actual knowledge can help you.

Q: Does it fit the 2023 Ioniq 6 as long as you have the auto dimming rear view mirror?

Q: Is there a cable to hook this up to a battery bank so wiring to the fuse box isn’t necessary for parked mode?

Hello, parking mode can only be connected to the fuse box to power up.
