A lot of Drones for your buck! Awesome Product, get one today!
I was kind of skeptical when I saw this drone. How can you get an FPV racing drone with a monitor for under $200??? I mean this drone is legit. It was easy to set up, charge the batteries (one for the drone another for the goggles). It start up right away and I got a racing drone of my own (for way more) and I really don't want to crash that one. With this one, I able to learn how to race and get use to the feel of the goggles. Not everyone will be able to fly with a goggle right away, but with this drone I can at least know it won't be too much a dent on my wallet if I do crash... which I've already did.Overall this drone is awesome for beginners who are on the fence to getting into drones. It's a lot of fun and definitely worth the price. I recommend this to all my drone friends!

Over priced junk
So let me start by saying i was looking forward to this quad, now i completely regret this purchase! This is complete garbage! The weather finally cleared up enough to fly so with fresh batteries and a fresh charge i put it on the ground paired it to the tx and took off (like a slug) at about 20 ft elevation it began not responding to the tx (not good when a drone does this!) had it been at 100ft it could have crashed into someones property or person! Luckily it decended and crashed on my driveway breaking 2 props. Now I've been piloting drones for 3 years and am a pretty skilled flyer so i know when a quad doesn't operate correctly. It also feels cheap in your hands! Now i don't return items to amazon because quite franky it's a pain in my a_ _! Do yourself a favour and buy a bugs 3 (unless your a new pilot) i bought this because it looks cool but that's all it's good for!

This drone cannot record video or take pictures to an onboard SD card
For $150 what you get here is worth the money - period. If you are just starting out, or just starting out with First Person View (FPV) flight, just starting out with racing, etc., it is hard to go wrong with the Bolt. The big problem for beginners, however, is the same problem with every 'beginner drone' and that is simply that well-written instruction, checklists and documentation, tailored to the specific audiences learning level are THE things that lead a beginner to intermediate and advanced drone flight. You cannot 'feature' or 'auto' your way into good piloting, you can however, follow step by step instructions for flight in general, then for flight specific to the drone. The Bolt has the onboard features to make life easy for beginners, but they cannot and will not prevent a beginner from hard crashes or loss over terrain/water.But here is the big problem with the Bolt, and, like above it could be 'the drone' or, it could be 'the docs and instructions', or both. The Bolt DOES NOT APPEAR TO ACTUALLY RECORD VIDEO, TAKE PICTURES or interact with the SD card in any way. Now, when I say appear to, I mean; appear to someone who has assembled drones, who writes code, who solders circuits, who knows to always RTM.I can't find any reference to how the thing actually uses the sd card.THE MANUAL DOES NOT SHOW HOW TOA) How to install, prepare, format or use the SD card (beyond the obvious 'insertion')B) How to START, STOP video recording to the SDC) How to take a picture,D) How to save that picture. After messing with it for hours, going online and reading other peoples issues I call BS. I am calling out the supplier here:PLEASE SHOW PROOF OF DOCUMENTATION OF HOW THE DRONE CAN RECORD VIDEO AND TAKE PICTURES OR ***REMOVE THE LISTING***OR ***REMOVE THE FEATURE FROM THE LISTING***Meanwhile, it flies great, the FPV works, its a carbon fiber frame. A swing and a miss that only partially makes you regret the purchase. Thats a pretty low bar.

Kick-butt Drone!
Wicked awesome!!! Handles great and the FPV makes it really cool to fly. Altitude-hold is a feature I wasn’t aware of and discovered it with this drone and it’s a great feature. The lights on this thing are sleek and make it one of the coolest drones I’ve owned. Especially like the rubber ‘feet’ making landing it a lot easier too.Excellent customer service, too, by the folks over at Cool Stuff Place. We had an issue with our dog chewing up the replacement blades (that are included with the drone) and they were awesome enough to ship us more the very same day I contacted them. Totally surprised and impressed!

In my top 3 great drone
I'm a long time for drone pilot....my 2cents is...the price is perfect for new flyers..... don't fly this inside!!!!! Handles lite gusts perfect,. It's actually very fast with great flight time (I got 18min). Fpv isn't very choppy, goggles are very comfortable. All it's missing is flight telemetry otherwise it's my #3 drone. After my dji and Bebop. That is my review. DONT FLY INSIDE!!!!!

It’s bad a$$ but when you need parts good luck
It’s the real deal. Fast real time video with monitor and holder. Here’s the problem...extremely fragile. I hit the emergency stop by mistake 10” off the ground and had to replace the chassis, motor mounts and so on. The bill on the replacement parts was 70$ and it took 3 weeks to arrive. You can’t talk to anyone to make sure you are getting the proper parts. I’m afraid to fly it now.

Eigh, its okay
It is cheap and for the most part well made. The video feed can be choppy and the drone losses altitude when moving forward more than other drones. Altitude hold mode decreases control input to a point of putting you in more danger than it ever helps avoiding.

now what I do like about this drone is that it is stable and ...
I've been flying micro/smaller drones for a while, when I felt confident flying those I figure I buy bigger. now what I do like about this drone is that it is stable and super simple and its right out of the box ready to fly and can take a hit and for those reasons it was a nice way to learn line of sight and FPV flying. now what I don't care for is, it can lose signal when you go in front of objects such as trees and it lose altitude causing it to hit the ground while hovering at lower altitude like 4 feet or less, its just a little under powered and recovers slowly. now with that being said I do like this drone a lot but I'm upgrading again and think once I get my new drone this one will be shelved or will be my back up for friends.
