Not Manufactured to Standard Size
Received product today. Tried to fit into 1/4" ID hose. Fitting was extremely loose. Loose to a point where there is concerns it will not seal. Thanks to my caliper, these 1/4" barb fittings at 0.012" Ø smaller than my 1/4" ID hose. Conversely, the other fittings I ordered from another vendor were slightly oversized and will provide a great seal for the hose.Looks like the barb tips on this product have been sanded or shaved down. Likely a CNC error in the manufacturing process. Either that or the pipe wasn't thick enough to start.
