High Voltage® Classic Cream Formula Colour Hair Dye 118ml (Deep Purple Dream™)

I love this brand, because they are cruelty free products. I have bought the pink and the purple in this brand and they are such amazing colours. 🤩 What I must say firstly, I have corse thick hair and I’m grey in patches too. My hair doesn’t take well to semi permanent colours. So I have my hairdresser pre bleach my fringe. By pre bleaching, it opens up the cuticles of the hair and enables it to grab hold of the colour much better than trying to apply colour straight onto the hair. The colour needs re applying every 2 weeks to pre damp hair for 20mins and washed out. I haven’t tried this on non bleached hair or on my natural colour hair so I can’t tell you how well it will react and take to your hair. My hair grows super fast, and just getting my fringe bleached by a professional and it hasn’t damaged my hair. This product hasn’t caused any problems to my hair or scalp. As stated in the title, this dye is high pigmented, takes well to bleached hair, holds in well enough for a semi and doesn't damage hair. Obvious precautions apply re: staining, but its not as bad for standing compared to some other brands!

I bought this for my Mum for Mother’s Day She was very happy with it And, as I also used to dye my own hair purple I know from past experience that this is a good product It doesn’t smell all chemical and it’s got conditioner in it too It’s worth the price

This dye worked really well for me! I left it on for around an hour to make sure it was staying. It did stain my shower however it was easy to remove with bleach and makeup remover. The product does not come with gloves so make sure to buy some. I applied this to bleached hair and dark brown roots and it covered it pretty well as a whole. It didn’t stain my skin too badly, and it rained the next day of dying it and didn’t run in the rain. I dried my hair before going to bed so I assume that’s why it didn’t stain my pillows. Would buy again!

Great value for money gorgeous colour

My hair is pretty much grey all over. I hadn't dyed my hair in months so it was in desperate need. As you can see from the pictures, my hair colour was washed out and greying badly. I put the hair dye on and I leave on for 2 hrs. Just to make sure it develops fully. It always look deeper by the next day than when you first dyed it. Been using manic panic for years. This one works well.

Comes out a lighter, more pinky-reddish purple than actual purple. Washes out incredibly quickly - dyed my hair for a 3 day festival and by the end of it had disappeared. Fades well though! Just gradually disappears, no nasty colour change.

Used on dark brown hair and worked perfectly

Ultra efficace. Par contre vraiment utilisez des grants et protégez votre salle de bain. C’est très très pigmenté, mais aussi très joli!

It's an amazing shade of deep purple. Apply it for an hour or so before washing for the colour to stay. It only works on pre-lightened hair. If you apply multiple times, the bleached hair turns green upon fading, which is cool

I have given other hair dyes a try & they all have FAILED when compared to Manic Panic. I have used Manic Panic for over 25 years now & REFUSE to use another brand again. It is the ONLY hair dye that “keeps” in my hair over time, doesn’t completely dry it out, smells great, is vegan & not tested on animals. My hair isn’t “porous” so I leave it in overnight with a shower cap & a plastic bag over it with a hair towel. YES this dye bleeds like crazy, but as long as you use gloves to protect your hands, a dye brush for application, apply petroleum jelly around your hairline & ears the dying of your skin is minimal. Because this dye is semi-permanent it washes out with each shampoo. I only co-wash my hair so it lasts much longer for me. I protect my pillows with a towel for the first week or so & usually only rinse it out with cool water to keep the “bleeding” to a minimum. Since I have been dying my type 4 hair Deep Purple Dream for a while now; (the only one that covers my gray evenly) one jar gets the job done for my shoulder-length hair for a root touch up. All in all I recommend Manic Panic as a fabulous alternative to traditional hair dyes!

Ich hatte mir letztens Manic Panic - Deep Purple Dream - bestellt und muss sagen die Farbe ist genial. Zuvor habe ich meine Haare blondiert und das Ergebnis ist dementsprechend toll geworden. PS: Ich habe nicht mal ganz ein Töpfchen für meine Haarlänge benötigt, da ist jetzt noch ein kleiner Rest drin :) Dadurch dass ich bei der Suche nach einem geeignetem Farbton auf wenige Fotos gestoßen bin oder Haarfarben, die durchaus etwas blaustichiger aussehen, muss ich das ganze etwas klarstellen. Von vorne herein war mir schon klar, als das Paket ankam und ich die Töpfchen gesehen habe, dass es einen leichten Rosaanteil hat, aber die Farbe fetzt trotzem sehr. Zuvor hatte ich eher nach einem Violett mit Blauanteil gesucht, aber wie gesagt, zu wenig Fotos im Netz und oder viele verschiedene Ergebnisse oder sogar die selben Fotos unter verschiedenen Namen diverser Tönungen. Deswegen habe ich so gut es geht im Selfie Format, sieht nicht so klasse aus, soll aber nur den Vorher-/ Nachher Effekt darstellen und Suchenden im Netz helfen, das Farbergebnis zu betrachten. Übrigens sieht das bestimmt noch viel besser unter Sonnenlicht aus, aber das war jetzt unter einer Tageslichtlampe am Abend. Eben erst gefärbt, aber ein großes Plus + beim Auswaschen. Die Farbe blutet nicht zu lange nach und wenn man sie danach mit dem Haarstyler trocknet oder mit Haaröl drin rumwuschelt, sieht man absolut nichts an den Händen. Ich kann die Tönung echt empfehlen und hoffe ich konnte mit meinem Bild etwas weiterhelfen. Nachtrag: Hällt super, nicht erschrecken beim Ansatz blondieren, das wird türkis, fällt aber nicht mehr auf, wenn man wieder drüber getönt hat.
