Beautiful Postcards
"Tiffany Stained Glass Windows: 24 Cards". Edited by Alastair Duncan, Dover Publication, Mineola, NY, 1987.This is a fine booklet, 8.5" by 11", of six pages, each page having four (4) post cards. The post cards can be separated by pulling them apart along the perforations. Each post card is printed in high gloss beautiful colors. At the bottom of each card, there is a brief description of the Tiffany stained glass, which might be a brief as "Domestic Window, date unknown". Each card shows some glass window work of Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933), who was known for ability to express beautiful scenes in the medium of stained glass. Antiques Buffs would probably recognize him more for his Tiffany Lamps, which were used to shade the gas lamps of the 1880s-1890s. His stained glass windows decorated houses and mausoleums and skylights throughout the United States. In 1882, President Chester A. Arthur would not take up residence at the White House until Tiffany had redecorated the building. Tiffany's stained glass entry to the White House is listed as one of his more famous works.I use the post cards in my hobby of sending and receiving post cards from individuals throughout the world. There is a website that will assign a person to send you a post card after a card, which you have sent, is received. So, after one of your mailed cards is received in, say, Germany, someone in China will be assigned to send a card to you. Nice way to collect foreign stamps! This booklet of Tiffany cards allows you to get away from the comic book post cards and the Pixar post cards, and so on.

Poorly designed book
I took the risk of buying these postcards and gotta agree that it is not such a great quality like the other reviewers posted. It is so very hard to tear the cards out of the book, especially the ones on the inside.. I don't like to cut these with scissors cuz they are already small and I risked cutting a couple of them too small (end up using them as bookmarks). It is worth experimenting if you want to buy these cards.. there are about 10 cards at least that look beautiful enough to be sent to someone.. most of the cards don't have elaborate information from where the glass window painting picture was taken.. but those that do provide a lot of information if you are the kind who would research further. My 3 stars is for the book being poorly designed to get the cards out, and the sizes of the card not optimal to be cut out of the book. I won't buy it again, but this was not a purchase that was zero value either.I wish they continue to make these cards but with some modifications: a) each card behind the other like the other postcard books (try Flower Fairies or Secret Garden.. such sturdy books) b) can cut out some of the similar looking windows that don't offer much variation c) increase the size.. if all these changes were made, I would buy this book for $10 too.

Beautiful postcards
These are excellent reproductions of Tiffany windows and I purchase this set at least twice a year to send to friends and family.

Not designed to use these as postcards
The pictures on these postcards are very nice but the format, being in a book, makes them ugly once you tear them out. They are not easy to tear out either. Some of mine got messed up. I had to take the book apart to remedy it. When torn out, they have 3 edges of ugly perforations that show up white from the color on the reverse side. You can cut them off but there isn't much black margin around the images so you have to be very precise not to cut into the picture. Even if you are precise, it leaves a narrower margin on the edges you cut and looks weird. Though it is called a postcard book, it is not designed to use them as functional postcards. Even though the pictures are nice it is waaay too much trouble to use these as postcards.

Lovely but....
Very disappointed in my postcards as they arrived bent, smaller and $1.00 more than the last time I bought them. They have a nice glossy finish on the stained glass side and are lovely photographs but are 1/2 in smaller. 3.7/8x51/2 compared to 4.1/4x6. One half inch is a lot on a postcard, plus the loss of the 6 bent ones during shipping (just shipped in thin bubble envelope, no cardboard) leaves me looking elsewhere. Please see photos.

Gorgeous cards, annoying perforated edges
These are absolutely beautiful cards showing the gorgeous Tiffany glass work. There's a little bit of everything in the collection: a few religious stained glass pieces, the classic wisteria and lilac, as well as a fantastic peacock piece. I bought these to use on postcrossing, but unfortunately I had to trim every single card before I could use it, as the perforated edges don't rip cleanly from the book and make the cards look really cheap. Big drawback. After the trim they were perfectly nice looking cards, but having to trim them was annoying.

Four Stars
Pretty designs, but a little thin for sending through the mail.

The photos on the cards are beautiful, however
The cards are not standard sized and the perforations at the edges of the cards really need to be trimmed off before sending, making them even smaller than standard. The photos on the cards are beautiful, however, and if size and perforations are not a problem, you will be happy with these cards.
