Decent Shoes, But Room for Improvement
I've been using the DSC Jaffa 22 cricket shoes for a couple of months now, and they're a mixed bag. The embossed design gives them a premium feel at first glance. The breathable mesh is the standout feature my feet stay reasonably cool during long innings, which I appreciate. They're also noticeably lightweight, so running between the wickets feels comfortable. However, the non-slip sole didn't live up to my expectations. On slightly damp outfield grass, I found myself losing grip more than I'd like. For a cricket shoe, that's a meaningful concern. The stability improvement is real but modest, nothing groundbreaking compared to similarly priced competitors. Overall, these are fine entry-level cricket shoes, functional, light, and good-looking. But if you're a serious or competitive player, you might want to invest a little more for better grip and lateral support. For casual weekend cricket, they'll do the job.
