Owala FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle 24 oz Denim

This bottle does exactly what it's supposed to do. Yes, it's small, but that's the point. There are definitely pros and cons. The obvious downside is that I have to refill it a few times throughout the day. On the other hand, it's incredibly convenient. It's not too heavy when full, fits easily in my bag and my spin bike's water bottle holder, and the locking latch doubles as a carrying handle. I've even clip it to my fanny pack with a carabiner for hands-free trips to the gym. It keeps drinks cold exceptionally well. I usually fill it with ice, and it lasts all day and overnight. One unexpected benefit is that it fits perfectly in the portable "ADHD caddy" I carry from room to room, which has actually helped me stay hydrated because my water is always with me. (I wrote a separate review about that caddy if you're curious.) If you want a bottle that travels well, doesn't leak, and keeps your drinks ice cold, this is a great choice. I also get a ton of compliments from both men and women on the color (Pink/Purple, Darling Diva). It's a less common color. So, it's a great conversation starter at the gym especially!

I purchased this bottle just to try out in the summer of 2023. It is now the summer of 2026 and I still use it multiple times a week (only because I now have multiple Owalas and I have just ordered my third Owala FreeSip). I have used so many cups—Stanleys, Yetis, Hydrojugs, Hydroflask, etc—and the Owala is still my favorite. Here’s my favorite things about it: LEAKPROOF! This is the biggest one. I can throw it my bag and trust that everything will stay dry. THE SPOUT! Hands down the best spout I’ve ever used. I love that I can sip through the straw but then close the lid and keep my straw clean and not have any spills if it tips over. And then it also gives me the option to absolutely inhale water if I’m about to shrivel up from dehydration. I think this alone is why I now own three in different sizes. STAYS COLD! The 32 ounce holds ice for quite a while. It varies depending on how often I refill it but if I’m not constantly refilling it, it will hold ice for about 24 hours. THE SIZES! I love the size options. My original one was a 32 ounce and is a great middle ground for me. It holds enough water that I’m not refilling it every hour but it’s not huge. It’s great for work and this bottle will be going to live at my job. I just ordered the 40 ounce for home because I want a little more volume when I’m outside gardening but I can’t say much about the 40 ounce size yet. I also have a 16 ounce (kids size) that I use when I leave the house. It fits in a lot of my bags and it’s leakproof so I always have cold water with me. It’s perfect especially since I’m on medication that causes dehydration if I’m not careful. DISHWASHER SAFE! This one is self explanatory. It’s amazing and I love it. There are a few cons though. The first one is that the 32 ounce doesn’t fit in my cup holder. Not a huge deal since it’s leakproof—I just keep it on the passenger seat. But Owala does have cup holder friendly options now if that’s something you want. The bottle also does dent and scratch fairly easily. I dropped it getting out my car one day and it’s a little beat up now. Kind ugly, but it’s still my fave. It’s kinda disappointing because I have Yetis and Stanleys that have been through far worse and still look new. Just be mindful of that and baby it a little. Still 100% worth it though. Long story short, it’s a great bottle that will keep your water cold and everything else dry. As someone who has used this bottle regularly for years, I highly recommend!

Owala water bottles for the win! These are hands-down our favorite water bottles. We have tried just about every popular brand out there—Yeti, Stanley, Hydro Flask, and others—and the Owala is the one that everyone in our family consistently reaches for. I absolutely love the versatility of the lid. You can use the built-in straw when you want to sip, or easily flip it open and drink straight from the opening. Having both options in one bottle is incredibly convenient, especially when you're on the go. The color combinations are also so fun! There are so many options to choose from, and the colors and designs make the bottles feel a little more personal and fun to use. Durability is another huge selling point. These bottles get used constantly and have been dropped and knocked around, yet they hold up extremely well. They seem much less prone to denting than some of the other brands we've tried, which is especially important when they're being used by kids. And, of course, they keep drinks really cold! We can fill them with ice and water, and they stay cold for hours. The lid also seals extremely well—we have never had an issue with them leaking in a bag. After trying so many different water bottles, Owala is definitely the winner for our family. They're durable, versatile, attractive, keep drinks cold, and don't leak. I honestly can't think of another water bottle brand we've liked as much!

I absolutely adore these water bottles compared to any other I’ve come across. Let’s start with the pros: you have the option to drink using the straw or tilt the bottle back like a cup. The mouthpiece is covered and leak-proof when closed, and it has a handle that locks the cover securely, then when open, it can be used to carry it with your fingers. I’ve dropped it multiple times, and surprisingly, it hasn’t dented. It also keeps my drink cold throughout the day. Now, let’s address the cons. If you open the bottle with the straw and pour in carbonated drinks, some of the liquid will splash out. (Lo and behold, there is a warning on the bottom to not use with hot or carbonated drinks…so there’s that.) Also, the carrying handle is made of plastic and appears to be a bit thin. While I haven’t tested it yet, it seems like it could break if hit the right way. It is sturdy so a tad heavy but lighter than any other I’ve encountered in its class. Considering these minor drawbacks, I’m so happy, I wouldn’t even deduct a star from this product

I freaking love this thing. I'm not a trend person, I go for function. And when my STB SIL got my fiancé a shiney new Stanley I decided it was time to replace my beat up Rtic with the mismatch lid and straw. I may not follow trends, but I didn't want my fiancé's cup to put mine to absolute shame! First off, can we all agree that the marshmallow is gorgeous? THIS cup is spectacular. Strange to say that about a water bottle, I know. But since I never jumped on that train, I didn't know what I had been missing out on. Let me tell you what! The most important things to me is taking care of my service dog. She keeps me safe so her care is paramount to me. This enables me to pour my water into her bowl on the fly, without having to open my bottle past what I would do to drink from it. Quick and easy. That right there was the selling point for me. But as it turns out, there was even more benefit than that. I don't chug my water but if I did, the chug hole does works fine. The straw portion is ready to sip from, and it doesn't stick up tall like other water bottle straws. It's JUST tall enough to get the job done. No worry of toppling over because the straw got knocked over by the cat. (Because that happens.) The "handle", which is generally the locking feature unless you're using it as a handle, is well placed and comfortable for my sized hands. Not to small and not clunky and large. STB SIL likes to talk about how great the Stanley handle is, which I don't really get. I like that this doesn't have a handle. I have one to carry it if I need it, and not if I don't. The seal is completely water tight. I occasionally put a drink mix in it and shake vigorously. No leaks whatsoever. In fact... It fits in a car cup holder upside down. That's how I transport it in the car. It doesn't fit butt down, so I put it top down. I've been known to do this with various bottles, so I tried it with this one and it fits ok. It's not ideal but it's better than nothing. Try it in yours! Since it's completely leak proof there's are no worries about spilling. (Just be careful when you remove it that it doesn't unlatch.) Another bonus of the covered straw is that germs don't get in the straw. Perfect because people in public often don't cover their sneezes. Ugh. And the coolest part? Lipstick messes are concealed with a flip of the lid! Easy peasy! I have noticed that the inside of the straw stains a little, which was disappointing. I don't like that I look at it and it looks dirty when it isn't. But I guess I shouldn't have used drink enhancers then. Also, my top color is very light. Other colors might not show that. Another thing that want fun was that when it fell, it dented! Oh no! So beware of that. It keeps my water super cold and I don't go anywhere without it. I love it so much that I'm thinking of getting another so I don't have to limit myself by style! Definitely worth the price since I use it constantly, every day. This one is so chill and Zen... The next one shall be colorful and crazy! One for every mood! I simply can't say enough about this darn water bottle... Does that mean I'm on trend now? Who knows! I just love my Owalla! I'm definitely a fan!

I absolutely love this Owala FreeSip water bottle! The 40 oz size is perfect for keeping me hydrated throughout the day without having to constantly refill it. The FreeSip design is my favorite part because I can either sip through the built-in straw or tilt the bottle back when I want a bigger drink. It keeps my water cold for a long time, and the stainless steel construction feels sturdy and high quality. The lid closes securely, and I love the sleek Very, Very Dark color—it looks simple, stylish, and goes with everything. It’s perfect for the gym, work, errands, or just keeping next to me throughout the day. Great size, keeps drinks cold, comfortable to use, and absolutely worth it.

I got this Owala for my son and really like it so far! My favorite feature is that you can drink from either the built-in straw or use the chug opening. It gives him both options without having to switch out lids or pieces, which is really convenient. The bottle itself feels sturdy and good quality, and the lid closes securely and has a handle that makes it easy to carry. The colors are also really fun and vibrant. My only concern is the coating on the outside. It feels like it may be somewhat easy to scratch, especially since this is going to be used by a kid and tossed into bags, taken to school, etc. We’ll see how it holds up over time! Overall, though, I’m really happy with it. I’ll update my review once I find out how sturdy it is.

I’ve tried many water bottles over the years, and there are a few qualities I always look for. This bottle delivers on every single one. #1 – Easy to clean. Bottles with fold-up straws tend to trap moisture and get musty over time, and they’re especially hard to clean where the mouthpiece connects to the lid. This bottle avoids that completely. The straw mouthpiece is integrated into the wide-mouthed spout under the lid, so there aren’t all those little crevices that are so difficult to clean. #2 – Keeps water cold for a long time. This one does an excellent job of keeping my water cold for hours. #3 – A carry handle that doesn’t get in the way. I LOVE the carry loop on this cup. It folds down over the lid when you’re not using it, so it doesn’t stick out or get in the way. #4 – A practical size. The opening is large enough to fit my 2” x 2” ice cubes, but the cup itself is still narrow enough to fit in a standard cup holder. Overall, this checks every box I look for in a water bottle. I’ve tried a lot of them over the years, and this is easily one of my favorites.

Vamos lá, primeiramente que eu AMEI a garrafa, estava super ansiosa pela chegada dela e não me arrependo em absolutamente NADA de ter comprado. Ela mantém a água gelada por MUITO tempo(se você for como eu q é curioso em saber quando tempo exatamente, um ótimo exemplo foi que eu coloquei água nela SEM GELO ás 16 da tarde e no dia seguinte ás 8 horas quando acordei ainda estava gelada como se tivesse acabado de sair do filtro d'água, lembrando que meu filtro tem agua gelada). O canudo dela é sensacional e super prático, mas também recomendo comprar uma daquelas escovinhas pra limpar. Além disso, ela é muito linda e grande. Eu comprei a de 945ml e tá perfeita pra mim, já que tem uma alça e o material externo da garrafa não é escorregadio ao toque. Agora falando dos pontos negativos, o único ponto negativo que eu tenho a mencionar aqui sobre essa garrafa é a entrega. Vi muitas pessoas reclamando sobre a demora da entrega e realmente aconteceu comigo também, o prazo pra envio é ENORME, acredito que seja por causa da quantidade de pessoas que compram essa garrafa, então demorou MUITO pra enviarem, aprox um mês. A entrega em si depois do envio foi de uma semana +/-, então acredito que seja mesmo uma coisa de estoque. O problema é que a garrafa deveria vir numa caixa de papelão, forrada por dentro e tudo mais. Mas na verdade ela veio dentro de um saquinho sem nada, só a garrafa, envelopado por um pacotinho com uma camada DUVIDOSA de papel bolha. Acredito inclusive que esse tenha sido o motivo do arranhão da foto(é pequeno, bem pequeno, e fica na parte de baixo, praticamente nem dá pra notar, principalmente depois que eu comprar aquele molde de silicone pra botar na garrafa). Enfim, o produto é perfeito, mas pecam bastante na forma como enviaram, e nem é pela demora, mas sim pelos danos causados aos produtos, visto que mais gente aqui teve o mesmo problema.

Muito boa, não vaza, conserva a temperatura.

Un po' cara rispetto alla media, ma ne vale la spesa! Tieni molto bene la temperatura, ma soprattutto la possibilità di bere a suzione grazie alla cannuccia, premette l'utilizzo facilitato anche durante la guida! I colori sono fantastici!
