Best Air conditioner money can buy. I bought 3 air conditioners before I finally got this one. I Should have went with LG from the start. Tried the fancy windmill brand and it shook the whole house and sounded like a plane taking off. Then I tried Madia brand. Worse AC I eve ever used. Complete trash and the loudest unit I’ve ever heard. Then this LG came, heaven! Almost silent. And work so easy and barely struggles to cool. According to the app uses barely 300 watts of energy. It just amazing.

Arrived in perfect condition! It is so quiet, you can hardly hear it. All functions are easily adjustable allowing you to be completely comfortable in this heat wave. I am so happy with my purchase! This LG line has the least complaints and the best reviews. I bought this model and a larger version to replace ancient window ACs, hoping to help with my electric bill and finally make my house comfortable. Directions were pretty clear and the Amazon delivered without damage while the one I bought from Walmart was smashed and had to be returned in person. 5 stars!!

Works while it lasts. And it lasted less than a year. Its a really heavy unit to install built like a tank and very quiet. But the fan gave away after 11 months. After 2 days of trying, I was able to contact LG support for warranty. (They dont leave any paper trails or emails) At this point I just want to take my loss and move on. Just ordered a cheap $200 AC. LG TVs are good, but ACs are the worst I ever had.

Pros: I think it's pretty cool (pun intended). I like that it connects to my phone using an app so I can turn it on and off from anywhere. The app shows you when to clean your filter, has problem diagnostics for all the different little parts of the air conditioner, and allows you to change fan speed, mode, ect. It even tells you what temperature it is in your house in real time. All that from your phone! I would rate it medium for noise level. It has a dual inverter which supposedly makes the A/C last longer, is moderately energy efficient, and climate pledge friendly. It cools my entire 2 bedroom apartment down very quickly. Cons: When I use the remote it comes with to turn it off, it changes my mode from cool to energy saver on the first push of the power button and then on the second push it turns it off. I don't know if I just got a faulty remote or what. Also this air conditioner is very long front to back, much more so than a regular A/C. This is due to the dual inverter (which is a good thing). Another thing about this A/C is that it sometimes makes water noises on startup. I read that it is just the sound of the coolant and is harmless, but you never know. It is also very heavy. Cons

My old unit was a monstrosity from a different century and was so loud you couldn't think when it was on and though it worked to cool the room, it was an absolute headache. This LG unit was a breeze to set up, the hardest part was getting the screws straight when attaching the curtain panels to the chassis. But it's SO quiet, my AC loving cats don't even know when it turns on yet. And it cools the room at a subtle yet effective pace. I have a raised bottom frame of my window so the L bracket didn't fit on the interior side of the unit but I have a window mount installed so I'm not too concerned about it falling. It's just nice to have a modern technology AC unit

Purchased this unit nearly 3 years ago. This air conditioner is used to lower the humidity in the Summer months only. We live in an 1800 ft., 2 story house, in the Midwest. Corn sweat is real. It's in the master bedroom upstairs and does a good job pulling the moisture out. It helps us sleep. The sleep mode is noticeably quieter. We've been quite pleased with it so far. We use the remote and clean the filter as needed.

I ordered this unit 7 PM Wednesday it was delivered 7 PM Friday installed by 8 PM and 3/4 of my 865 ft.² home has already cooled down. Be able to control it with my phone as a bonus.
