Bought for my 2022 Jeep Gladiator sport s pickup truck and couldn't be happier. Product came early, arrived in great condition, and everything was packaged nicely. Easy to assemble alone and fits accurately on my truck. They even sent me stickers.😁 Definitely recommend.

I installed this roof rack on my Gladiator Rubicon and I am impressed. Once you bolt it all together, it becomes very rigid. Upon install, it is very sturdy. I carried a 24' extension ladder for 400 miles with 2 ratchet straps holding the ladder to the rack. No movement and definitely heavy-duty enough to hold up to the bouncing and highway speeds. When you have no items strapped to the rack, it will be very quiet up until 80 mph. When you approach 80, you start to hear a little wind noise coming off the rack. You can faintly hear wind noise at 75 mpg.

Putting it together wasn’t too difficult, but some nuts and bolts were subpar quality and I ended up stripping a bunch. I’m an experience mechanically inclined person. We just feels like the inside threads were not great.. Instructions also could use a little work just closer images of things.. Still got it up still looks good!

I did a lot of research prior to buying this Hooke Road roof rack. It is not easy to find many roof racks for the Jeep Gladiator, especially roof racks that allowed you to remove the front two hard sun roof pieces like this kit did. This whole roof rack is extremely sturdy and a big selling point were the horizontal bars with the built in T-bar slots. Now I can safely bolt on to the roof any boxes or accessories that I want to and I know that they won't be going anywhere regardless of the terrain or overhanging brush. This is a very well thought out and well built roof rack.

Install is fairly simple. The one thing to note is you should have a M8 1.25 tap on hand to clean the powder coat from the threads in the weld nuts on the mounting brackets. The rack is sturdy and well made from what I can tell without actually loading it. The doors clear it fine…it is a little awkward installing the top in and around it…..just take your time. Final install looks great and I would purchase again.

I love it fits perfect on my gladiator and still able to take the top off. Exactly what I was looking for.

The build quality is fine, no issues yet. The problem is that the rear clamps, if you fit them properly, don't allow the rear doors to open. So you have to pull the clamps out a bit to allow the doors to open, but the seal of the door still rubs on the clamp. The second problem is that this half tack, though designed to allow the freedom tops to come off, is slightly too large to be able to remove the tops and put them back on without an ENORMOUS amount of effort. And, regardless of what the instructions say, there is no adjustment in the front bar to allow any extra room. I have not carried anything in it yet, but I don't see why there would be any issues. The threaded holes for putting this together were not machined well. Lots of leftover filings and one hole had been dented, needing to be opened to allow the screw to fit.

Competing with what else is out there, this seems to be a good deal. The steel frame and aluminum cross bars is a good way to keep strength and save weight. Coating is good, but not fantastic. It covered like 95% of metal but the cross bars were a little thin. Steel had a few chips from manufacturing and shipping Im guessing. Coated the exposed metal with rustoleum bed liner. Happy woth it at this price point and size was what I needed. I mounted it over my freedom top as I wanted storage and a starlink mount forward of my roof top tent on my gladiator. Looks like legs may rub rubber on door seals a tiny bit. I might grind the thickness of legs a bit and recoat. But at the price, and the overall design and quality its a great pick.
