it works
I used this rosemary oil at night and my hair was still clean-looking the next morning, despite my fears that it would seem oily. The tests on rosemary oil for hair growth were compared to 2% minoxodil, and the rosemary oil was shown to be just as effective. You must use it twice a day for an extended period of time. However, I like a gentler, more natural approach that smells wonderful. This rosemary oil smells wonderful; it makes me feel like I am at the spa. The dropper is simple to use and not overly oily. The two bottles offer excellent value since they last long.

Beauty must have!!!
Great moisturizing oil works great on my hair. The oil is more on the thinner side so it runs easily. So a little goes along way. Great product and very effective. I love the droplet applicator and how much product u get for the price.

Watery
I’ve purchased a few castor oils and the consistency of this product is thin like water. Castor Oil normally has a thick slightly sticky consistency but not this one. It had a high rating so I ordered it to give it a try. After opening I went through the reviews most of them look like reviews for free product. I’m going to count this as a loss.

dilute with carrier oil or conditioner
I appreciate the advice in other reviews that this ALIVER Rosemary Essential Oil shouldn’t be applied without dilution in a carrier oil or other dilution. The advice to mix it with a carrier oil comes in the 4th graphic down on the Amazon product page, but the advice makes it sound optional, rather than highly recommended to avoid skin irritation. In fact, under Directions on the bottle it says to massage it directly into the scalp. The next line has the advice to mix with a carrier oil, but there’s no ‘you must’ verbiage in there.I previously ordered a bottle of pure rosemary oil from MAJESTIC PURE brand named SHOWER STEAMER SPRAY that came with a sprayer top. The MAJESTIC PURE bottle says, “Do not spray directly onto skin.” An online search for rosemary essential oil nets sites that describe which components of the oil are turpenes (think turpentine). Essential oils that contain turpenes are generally recommended to combine with carrier oils, whether for aromatherapy sprays, or topical use. It’s good to read the reviews, and/or do a little research.I used a vinyl glove to capture a couple of teaspoons of grapeseed oil, and massaged it into my ‘skullcap’ bald spot. Then (5) drops of this ALIVER Rosemary Essential Oil and more massage. I left it on for 30 minutes, then shampooed. I’ve put several brands of rosemary essential oil on my bald spot over several months, and was surprised to see less balding … maybe? I have long hair and tie it back, and the bald spot is still there but it’s looking less sparse, I think, maybe? Surprising. I’m not down with applying rosemary oil twice a day for months. I tend to go for simple and I go shirtless for the time I’ve got the oil on, then shampoo, not the most convenient. I’m more up for adding a bit to my conditioner that goes on after I shampoo, and stays until I’ve washed everything else leading to rinsing. I didn’t have a lot of faith that rosemary oil was going to regrow my hair, but hoped it would stem hair loss. But my lack of faith in this oil working for hair growth has been shaken. I’m prepared to be surprised. But still maintaining a healthy skepticism.

A little oily
My hair drops a lot after delivering. I started to use the hair growth oil/serum. Compared to other product like rice water, this is a bit on the oily side, though it's still kinda light as an oil. It's kinda transparent and won't add color to your hair. I usually use a full tube and trying to apply on my scalp where hair is less, with some massage. May need to wash hair more frequently as this add additional oil to the hair. I've found some fine hair growth, but not sure whether that's natural or from the effect of the product.

Good amount for the price
I have been adding this rosemary oil to my shampoo and conditioner to help hair growth after loosing a lot post pregnancy/child birth. I have been using it every time I was my hair for over two months now and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. I have a ton of new little hairs sprouting all over my head and I have to think it’s from the rosemary. I haven’t even come close to using a whole bottle so this two pack will last a long time. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Great oil for hair growth
This set is of good value and the oil is great quality for slowing hair loss & increasing new hair growth. I use a few drops of this oil with my shampoo and massage a few drops on the roots of my hair once dried. It takes a while, but if you use consistently you will definitely see new hair growth. I would recommend.

Oily and mild scent
I tried this oil on my lashes in hopes it’ll help with my short and sparse lashes, I applied it with a spoolie under my top lashes and on top and it left my skin under my eyebrows oily and worst of all it got into my eyes and blurred my vision because it was oily. It didn’t hurt or sting but it was unpleasant, I had to rinse it out. Since I’ve decided to not wear it on my lashes, I tried it in my diffuser and it didn’t have much of a scent, in the bottle it actually smells like a household all purpose pine cleaner. I think it may be diluted with some sort of carrier oil, although it doesn’t list it on the bottle. I didn’t really care so much for this oil, but it did come with a spoolie and thinner brush like a eyeliner brush but that one was stiff.
