We bought a similar (but with lower wattage capability) unit five years ago with a great feature absent in this unit: Automatic Voltage Conversion. That feature eliminates the risk of plugging the unit into the wrong AC INPUT voltage - no need to manually select the INPUT voltage. Aside from its higher (2500W) wattage capability - which makes it more expensive- the other plus of this unit over the inexpensive one (which we gave away to a relative residing overseas) is the dual 120V OUTPUT socket. You can use two (2) appliances simultaneously as long as you don't exceed the transformer's wattage capacity (add a % allowance for safety for power-hungry appliances). It's reasonably priced for its wattage capability, but the AVC feature's absence can draw prospective buyers to look for it in competing brands.

I can now use a 220v massager I got from a trip abroad. This looks heavy duty. Easy to setup, just a flip of a switch and I can use it anywhere. A bit pricey but it reflects the quality. At 2500 watts, I know I can use this on a wide variety of appliances.

I bought it last year on November 2nd 2024, and it literally stopped working these last couple days... expected to last at least 5 years. You gonna tell me that you'll have to pay $85 bucks every year to run your hotpot base heater and just boiling some hot water? It's a joke...

Terrible quality product! Output is dangerously high. It’s rated 220-240v and runs at 280v! This product is a piece of junk! Avoid and beware!

A little hot but works well

Main problem that electric plug that you put into the device just falls off - the socket is not tight enough. Should be fixed in higher versions as sockets is different there.
