Apple iPad iPAD 2 5 in 1 Camera Connection Kit

Absolute Rubbish, this does not work with either iPad or iPhone. As soon as plugged in both my iPad and iPhone said this device is not supported and as much as I tried there was no way to get it to do anything!I had read the reviews and as it was cheap Intook a chance that it might work but it doesn't . This product should be removed from sale on Amazon as it clearly doesn't work.

Ipad would not accept it kept saying not genuine device will not work!

Pretty OK with technology but this one has proved a challenge!!No instructions with the device and initially could not get it to work - read an SD card.Having read about Apple's similar device and the issues people are having with that, then the pieces of info gleaned from Amazon and Apple reviews, finally got it to work on an early iPad2 and the latest Ipad 2 with 3G. Both have ios6.0 on them.This is how I got it to work.1. put your iPad into sleep mode - press the power-off switch and swipe power-off2. have the card reader in front of you, with all the symbols facing you.3. I had to use a magnifying glass to realise the instruction for selecting USB or SD card was actually printed on the front of the device in pale grey. Not that intuitive because I then had to work out what to do next.4. at the right side of the device is a tiny black switch sunk into the casing. To read an SD card, gently slide the switch towards the iPad connection end of the device ie in the direction the 'grey' symbols show you.5. Now insert the SD card into the device,6. Then gently insert the iPad connection end of the device into the iPad.7. Next step - wake the iPad up by pressing the iPad's 'power on' switch and swipe to open the home page8. you should now have been automatically directed into iPhoto and given the option to 'import photos'.wooh!! have not used the USB option as really only interested in the card reader, hope this helps!!

Purchased from iKnowcomms. The item I received was not identical to the illustration used on Amazon or indeed to the instructions included. It was similar and I eventually found the switch which was next to the USB and card reader ports and not on the side of the connector. This seems to be a copy or clone of the product illustrated on Amazon.To be brief I was unable to upload photos from my SD card but it would upload from my camera. However it uploaded the photos into various albums called "All Uploaded", "Last Uploaded" and "Events" for the various dates the photos were taken. Unable to change the names of these albums and so created new albums with meaningful titles and copied the photos into my new albums. I then deleted the photos from the albums created by the connection kit but found to my dismay that it also deleted the photos from the albums I had created! Limited use only but not worth sending back as it only cost £2.30. I was using the latest iPad 3 and got the usual message about not being compatible but it osrt of worked with my camera.

As I am a keen amateur photographer, I waited anxiously for it to arrive. This tiny package took over 3 weeks to arrive. When it finally came (while I was away!) I used it the first chance that I got to. It is a useless piece of equipment. The main reason that I got it was to view my photos on my iPad.First, as suggested (on the enclosed badly-written english leaflet), it does NOT have a switch to change between USB and an SD card. However, I tried to put in my SD card into it to view my photos. Nothing. Just constant error messages coming up saying that the device is not recognised. Absolutely useless piece of equipment. Don't bother. Just put the card into your computer to view the images.

You would think that the connector being the older type for iPads that would indicate it's usefulness in reading the iPad but no. 'This item not supported' Too cheap to whine about a return, but based on how many people bought one which didn't work, I should have done my research. Back to plugging the iPad into the laptop. At least that works.

Arrived soon.I have iPad 3 with iOS 8.3. Have a memory microSDHC formatted as FAT32/exFAT with DCIM/ folder created. That folder must contain another folder of 8 characters. Photos are inside then but their names must be in format 8 + 3 (eg. 20150908.JPG), otherwise that crappy iOS pseudo system won't see them. Then plug the device while iPad is in sleep mode. A message from iOS appears that the device is incompatible and then it really looks it does not work. But let you go to Photos/Import and everything works well.Anyway shame on Apple, everything is 100x easier on Android. Won't make such mistake as buying Apple again.

Not best pleased. Doesn't work on my Wife's iPad2, My iPhone4 or My Daughters 4th gen iPod Touch! All running ios6. Device message "This Accessory is Not Supported by ******" (****** being my devices). Read the lower end reviews before buying! Mistake that I made by not doing. Seller really needs to ensure product works with all flavours of stated compatible devices before generalizing. Delivery from seller was quick though, just the item not fit for purpose I intended. Only 2 quid so not worth hassle of returning. May know someone with earlier generation iDevices/ios platforms as it may work with those.

Nella vendita non è precisato che usando il prodotto con I-Pad 2 l'alimentazione per usarlo è insufficiente e quindi non si può usare. Sarebbe da richiedere la restituzione e il rimborso ma per quello che costa solo al tempo da dedicare non ne vale la pena. Pessima chiarezza nella vendita del prodotto dove non viene indicata questa particolarità che aimè lo rende inutilizzabile.

Simplemente NO FUNCIONA, NO ES COMPATIBLE MUY MALA COMPRA. El material es malo malo malo, cuando la saqué del paquete estaba a medias de ensamblar la parte de plastico de fuera y cuando lo enchufo a un ipad2 me dice que no es compatible.Gran forma de estafar a la gente y por el importe que tiene no me apetece estar de disputas ni perder un minuto.

Funciona muy bien

Simplemente no funciona con el iPad:El puerto USB es inutilizableLas tarjetas SD no se leen (casi nunca), se interrumpe la comunicación con el Ipad continuamente

Lo he probado con mi viejo ipad2 y me lo ha reconocido aunque no sea de apple. Otro cantar es la mopativilidad de archivos pero de primeras te reconoce archivos de fotos y video

Inservible después de hacer mil pruebas me di por vencido, no lo reconoce el ipad, lo tire a la basura.

no funciona al no ser original y al no estar autorizado por apple no funciona ni con ipad ni con iphone,y eso lo sabei y aun asi lo vendei y lo sacais al mercado para robarle el dinero a la gente!

Tengo un iPad 3 y no lo reconoce, creo que deberían decir si es compatible o no con los modelos de iPad, o sino explicar si existe alguna aplicación para que funcione el lector.

Fonctionne quand il a décidé , parfois non reconnu par mon ipad retina 32 go " accessoire non reconnu" ... Les encoches du plastique de protection ne correspondent même pas correctement a ceux ou met les cartes , mini SD non reconnu du tout et usb pareil ... En somme une vrai daube

Comme d'autres internautes, ce produit ne fonctionne pas non plus chez moi, j'ai pu comparer avec un produit équivalent prété par un ami qui a fonctionné immédiatement. Premier échec d'achat chez Amazon, Eviter ce produit
