While I prefer the yellow garri, this one however suffices. If this brand makes yellow garri I will not hesitate to buy it. The texture is smooth and it is clean. It is good for soaking and for swallow. The quality is good as it does not dry out when you make it as swallow especially if you drizzle a dash of olive oil in hot water when mixing it. I will say this is an excellent choice.

**Q: whats the difference between the yellow packaging and the red packaging. is one slightly whiter than the other**
A: It looks like their new package design. If it's yellow or grainy they will state it on the front.

**Q: Why is this unavailable in 2019, I don't like the Yellow version with palm oil?**
A: This Gari tastes very well. I was born in Ijebu Ode, and I know how to make garri from cassava, furthermore, I have been ordering this garri for over two years now. It’s perfectly alright for consumption. I don’t know the seller. I can only tesitify to what I consumed. Amazon has my record of purchases. This Garri is good and should be back on the platform

**Q: Can you make flatbread with this?**
A: Never heard of it being used to make any bread. I do add it with flour to coat fish instead of breadcrumbs, otherwise I add boiled water or oil to make Gari foto. I think of Gari as a west african version of couscous.

This is a better value than most garri out there in afro/carribean/asian stores. It is a bit expensive, which is the reason for only 4 star. Would buy again if the price reduces to £5 which should be ideal for this product.
