Neat & strong pull. did not use stickon fixing pads or hooks. preferred screws for long term. Fitted at middle of door to reduce force, as retract hurt people slightly with unexpected door strong retraction ( no adjustment with retraction otherwise)

What arrived didn’t quite match the sales illustration as there were only 2 adhesive pads when I was expecting 4. However I realised that the hook for the door is now self adhesive. There were no fitting instructions so I played safe and stuck hook and mechanism in place and then left them for 24 hours before hooking one to the other. I am very happy with the result but my wife feels that, as other reviews say, the door closer pulls too much while the door is open. This means that all the time you need the door open you need to push against it.

This product is not fit for purpose, the pull back was so strong I was worried the adhesive backing wouldn’t hold, however, that wasn’t the problem. The mechanism inside snapped after opening the internal door the third time. Making it useless. Therefore, it has poor material quality and doesn’t function. I would NOT recommend this product for anything. I gave it the 1 star for easy fitting.

Reason for 3 star review: It is just too powerful, my dog can't get in the room, I bought it so that my mum didnt have to keep getting up to shut the door to the snug. It is too powerful for someone on walking stick as it is forcing itself shut on you. Don't be fooled!!! The Alun Keys are not to adjust the power that it closes at, it is only to release the door shut distance and the little metal loop connector so that if the metal wire breaks it can be removed and re connected.

Good to use

Easy to install. Works well but the first one snapped after about a month. Thought I just had a dodgy one, so fitted the second. That lasted about a week and also snapped. It’s a light door so no real pressure put on it, shame as it’s quiet, unobtrusive and did the job…well, for a while. Shame.

These would be great for a normal wooden door, but they're much too strong for my fly-screen door, it makes it bend and flex and then needs a lot of "push" to open it, so sadly Ive had to remove it. Great value though, and I'll be transferring them to a couple of internal doors.

Würde ein Thema, nach Anschaffung von Hund und Katze. Leicht genug für Tiere rein und raus zu gehen. Schließt ohne einschnappen . Zimmer bleibt warm

Don’t buy. Useless and hazardous. 4 got ruined since October. It’s Feb 8th now. The wires just fray spontaneously at some point making them instantly useless because it gets stuck. Plus you really have to use screws, not the glue pad, because one of them slammed into my kid’s head as it came loose. Just don’t.

Weak pull. I put it on a 3feet wide UPVC Door...but it couldn't pull it properly

Seule solution trouvée pour fermer une porte de débarras qui s'ouvre vers l'intérieur et qui qui est au ras du mur donc je n'ai pas de possibilité de mettre un ressort ferme porte. J'ai mis à l'intérieur ce petit ferme-porte j'aurais pu prendre probablement le modèle en dessous comme puissance mais peut-être que le ressort va se desserrer un peu. Ma porte ne se ferme pas complètement avec la serrure, mais au moins quand on arrive en face en rentrant dans la maison on ne voit plus cette porte ouverte.. On verra à terme la résistance de l'affaire. Le double face est plus sollicité puisque cela tire dans le sens de l'arrachage, mais comme pour 10 € j'en avais deux quand il rendra l'âme j'en mettrai un autre PS! Après plus d'un an: après quelques semaines un des patchs s'est décollé. Mais j'en avais deux. J'avais du mal positionner le premier. Et depuis tout fonctionne toujours. Je suis toujours ravie!
