I was quite surprised by the performance and durability of this contraption. My home was built in the 80s, so I guess ppl were much shorter then. I'm only 5'8", myself, but my shower nozzle was too low even for me (it touched the top of my head.). I switched out my shower head and purchased a 12 in. square rain shower head to go along with this contraption. I followed the instructions, as directed, and was able to gain about 5 in. in height above my head. Initially, I was concerned about the weight of my shower head, and the ability for sustained water pressure cuz of the design. But, I tighten the grip on this contraption, and it's holding up without any leaks whatsoever with plenty of water flow into my rain shower head. My only regret was not buying this sooner cuz for the price, solid material quality, and workmanship, it's totally worth every penny and more!! 😊

I ordered a rain shower head for our bathrooms, only to realize that the spout wasn't up high enough. I ordered these and it was perfect! Super easy to install and seems very sturdy/durable.

Forgot to mention you need this with the shower 🚿 head. I guess I didn’t read the fine print, so I had to order the extended bar. No its complete.

Easy to install, used existing rain shower head and diverter from a previous purchase. replaced a straight rod (in pictures). This added at least 3" in height. I'm 6' 1" and kept hitting the other one with my arms when raising them. Also like the fact that now the "head" is straight and not angled as it was before couldn't make it level. I definitely recommend this for tall people and if your a short person it can still be adjusted lower.

if your working with what you got an need a higher shower head, than this is worth the price, solid construction, and no leaks, also, no worries for sagging. The neck has metal teeth in the flex area so it will It’ll weaken and sag.

Looks nice. Impossible to tighten without scratching the black off, even when using a towel as a buffer. Still leaks even with the plumbers tape.

I have been though two different extensions from the hardware store that were made of plastic that broke. It would slow move down then the bolt would shoot out. This one has not moved an inch and puts the head up high enough that my husband can stand under it with more room.

This shower head is an absolute game changer. I feel like Im at a fancy resort and look forward in the shower everyday.
