Excellent and Cost-Effective Replacement for OEM Folio
Somehow got my OEM folio ruined under a car seat and was looking for a replacement. Could not believe how much less expensive this one was and had good features! I like the niche where I can insert the stylus, and its rigid body is clearly very sturdy. Remarkable 2 fits in nicely, doesn't feel lose at all. If you like the faux-leather touch of the original, you won't find it on this on, but I actually prefer the hard-shell--feels more protective. Definitely recommend.

Nice fit
Fits perfect and like that it is fairly slim. Like that it has a pen holder on the side, as well. Works great and is pretty durable.

Great Case
I love that the case was very affordable and seems to be a good case. The best thing about the case is the pen slot. The pen sticks to the side of the remarkable magnet, so o don’t have to worry about it falling out. The previous case I bought was ok abut started to fall apart and the holder for the pen would cause damage to the pen tip. The fit is perfect, love the black color and looks nice.I would recommend this product.

Handy and Secure!
I love the fact that my pen is secured with this cover. As much as I liked the strong magnet hold of the reMarkable covers, the pen is not secure, and I was constantly finding myself looking for the pen in my bag.Although the magnet hold isn’t as strong on this case, I would still definitely recommend this case.

Keeps pen in place
This is such a great cover. The pink is nice and soft, the inside is soft and velvety, and it holds the pen in place. I have yet to lose the pen. Warning to those who work in manufacturing, you will see some dirt stains if you flip the cover under the reMarkable. It is easy to clean though but try to avoid oily surfaces.

Decent, but MAGNETS are bad
The case, functionally, is decent. I modified it (using a Dremel tool) when I first got it to increase the gap on the side so a pen with a clip could fit. AND it has served me well for about a year. Seems to be protective enough.HOWEVER, and it's a big however, the screen on the Remarkable 2 has slowly become desensitized. I thought at first it was the pen, so I changed tips. Then I thought it was just the Remarkable 2 slowly dying. It turns out its none of those. THE MAGNETS that hold the cover shut slowly warp the sensors inside the Remarkable so your pen doesn't register. I found this out after checking the Remarkable troubleshooting guide. I was REALLY pushing hard to get it to register until it was to the point where it was not working. I removed the Remarkable from the case...and gave it about a day, and it's back to working again!SO, I cut out the magnets on the case (4 in total). The case looks bad, but whatever, it will still do its job.To sum up, the case itself is a decent design. But having magnets for the Remarkable slowly kills the pen detection. Magnets should not be used at all!In defense of magnets, I have been able to use it for a year...but I started noticing degradation within a month. You may be able to give your Remarkable a rest and just take it out every once in a while, for a day or two, and that might give it a refresh. But overall...it just shouldn't have magnets.

Not protective around usb
I bought this because it was the only one I could find that has the configuration to just prop it up a little bit in portrait mode. As long as you are very careful with your device, which I normally am, it’s great. But, sure enough, it slid off the couch onto the floor. At first thought all was well…until I tried to charge it again. I couldn’t get the usb connector in because it must have hit here and bent the metal (see pic). Anyway, with a pair of needle nose pliers I was able to bend it back enough to get the plug in again but they should update the case around that area to prevent this.
