I fitted these replacement gas struts on a 2007 BMW E91. They were easy to fit and have proved to be a good buy. They have replaced the tired and worn out original part and make operating the bonnet a smooth and effortless operation. Recommended.

Arrived promptly. BOTH original struts were knackered (no surprise on a 2006 car) so needed to replace both. One reviewer said ONLY ONE could hold up the bonnet of his car comfortably. I decided to test that and can confirm same. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that I have only just installed both sides, and cannot comment on the longevity of the product. HOWEVER, so far, so good. Sturdy and very easy to install. Simply push onto the metal ball ends and hey presto!!

Cured my sagging bonnet very well. When first fitted ,the upward thrust force was so strong I initially thought that the struts were ceased . Pulled harder, bonnet came down in a very controlled way. Very happy. Fire stars would be given if a few instructions or even a pictogram showing how to do. DIY ers will buy these ,once in a while,so a little help would have been appreciated.
