I have clamshell hard side suitcases and I tired of having to lay them down on the floor and open the whole thing to stick my toiletry bag or boarding pass in after TSA. This set has a nice snap out toiletry pouch, a laundry bag that rolls up and stows inside elastic holders at the bottom. Also mesh panel pockets inside and a flat pocket outside. This is much better for getting to small items even at the top of the main compartments without having to open the entire suitcase. Excellent product. And I love the set with the updated gray color. Since they will be checked and baggage gets dirty I will be spraying them with scotch guard before traveling to make sure I can clean any black marks off. If this matters to you, go with the black set. These were also a steal at $80 new for the set.

I have the larger suitcases in this line. It works well in overseas travel since it is soft. Traveling to and from Africa my suitcase got filthy. I was surprised how nicely it cleaned up by just wiping it down when I returned home. You have to watch the dimensions on this spinner as I ran into a problem in France with a different carry on that I had used for 25 years. Check in would not accept it as a carry on and charged me $130 forcing me to check it. The dimension on this spinner's description does not include the wheels and that could create a problem depending on what country you are flying out of. Sadly I returned the spinner and hope to find something similar a few inches shorter.

The fabric is not as appealing as it appears in the ad (seems cheaper), but the overall quality is satisfactory.

This is a very useful suitcase! I took it on a three-week trip which involved air transportation. The suitcase came through very well, and it was big enough to hold three weeks worth of gear.

The measurements advertise for this carryon is incorrect. It is 23" high and is not acceptable for United Airlines. I'm glad I reviewed other reviews, my luggage came today and it is in fact 23" high. I also saw others that tried to get to pass as carry on and they were rejected. I'm glad I rechecked the reviews and I also checked the measurements myself.

AA is the only airline that requires exact dimensions for your carry-on 22x14x9, including wheels. All others require 45 inches total. Being that this was for an international flight we didn't want to take a chance of breaking the rules. This bag was almost perfect. Why almost? There were only 2 color choices, neither being what we wanted.
