The seat post stood up to this extra load, including thumping over speed bumps ( there were times that my legs were too tied to stand up ). The lay back nature of the post gives a welcome change from a time trial position, is quite comfortable and allows more weight on the back wheel for traction ( the bike was originally intended as a winter snow bike, but with slicks is an admiral summer cruiser ). Recommended . Review: Good quality and nice satin black finish to product. - Was perfect satin black finish to match other parts on the bike. Takes a while to come but I was aware of that.
