Putting together your own bookcase is interesting and normally I have someone else put together furniture. This time I wanted to surprise my husband by getting everything done by myself. I'm over 55 so this was a little more effort because I had to sit and rest in between exertions. First you have to get everything out of the box and then you have to use a screw driver and Allen wrench to put the bookcase together. Frankly I found the instructions easy to follow and all the items needed were well labeled in little bags. Yes they actually include a screw driver and Allen wrench which was very helpful! One person can put this together by themselves but two people would make it slightly easier. The pieces of wood were perfectly packaged so there was no damage. I used those "moving men" sliders to move the heavy about 40 pound box into the living room and then I used them again to move the whole bookcase into the office. The one thing I didn't have was the hammer they suggested using to knock in the little feet for the bottom of the shelves. I used my regular hammer which I put two napkins over and fastened it all with some packaging tape. That worked. I take no responsibility for you if it doesn't work for you. :) For me it was an easy solution and I didn't have to buy a second softer hammer. So yes, I'm very happy with this and now I put about 93 books on the shelves and it is holding up well and I'm pleased to have my own little library of books to read in my office. ~The Rebecca Review

Delivery was smooth and building the bookcase wasn't too bad. All the parts needed came with it, along with extra parts if any were lost. It was a bit smaller than I imagined even though the measurements were listed, but I had no trouble fitting all my books on it. I love how it comes in different colors, and so far everything is good. Definitely would buy again in the future as my book collection grows.

I had a small issue with delivery but the problem was resolved and I received the package the following week. It was boxed well and it came without damage. I was happy to discover it was very easy to assemble and I did it alone in about a half hour. I was also surprised to find when assembled It's shorter than the shelf it's replacing. I thought it was the same size but I think I like this shelf better! It's prettier than the old one and It's sturdier. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and I would order again.

The quality of this bookshelf was not the best, as it came with some malfunctions. The issues were only minor, and were solved easily, and the instructions were very clear. It hold all my books without any trouble, and it looks great. Overall this is a relatively good product, especially for the price, so I do recommend this bookshelf.

Though it isn't important in terms of reviews I moved not too long ago. It was late summer of '23. Though I had bought a bookshelf for manga I put off getting another one for the rest of the books and the piles were gradually growing by the month. So I bought this one. Pros: - Assembly isn't too difficult. Any difficulty I had was mostly because I decided to put it together alone. - Perfect size for a manga shelf. - Looks Great. Cons: - Quite a few of the books that I wanted to put on this shelf wouldn't fit because they were just a little too big. Even though the shelves are adjustable I feel making room for the books that wouldn't fit with take away space from other books and I wouldn't be able to have it sorted as I would have liked. - It was shorter than I thought it would be with five tiers. Luckily since the spacing is perfect for my manga collection I decided to transfer the manga from my other shelf and used the other shelf for the books I've had piled up. So even though the outcome wasn't as I had wanted it still worked out. These shelves are good as long as the books you want to put on here are not bigger than roughly 9 inches. Since the books I get from Book of the Month are just slightly bigger they didn't quite fit. [This is if the shelves are evenly spaced.] I will probably buy another since my manga collection already filled this shelving unit and will continue to grow. Just probably won't be used for non-manga as most of my books came from Book of the Month.

The title says it all. It's 2-piece "shelf" with a top of two shelves that sits on a bottom unit, like two apple crates of different lengths set together, the smaller one on top. Putting this together is ridiculous. Parts have as many as 16 holes of different sizes (in some type of created "board"), the back is (like) covered cardboard. The kit has 7 (!) kinds of joiners to attach shelves to sides, etc., + 4 rubber feet-on-nails, two "tools" and a set of sticky dots on a pad. The unit is not "easy" to put together in any respect. Far from intuitive or and straightforward, assembly is illogical, inconvenient, & awkward. The system and materials for joining are unnecessarily varied and strange and not necessarily consistent in manufacture. A reviewer said that the screwdriver received in the kit was handy. That's cute. The most recent item that I assembled from this company, a small desk, had screw holes drilled though metal a few mm off on two sides. The one before that (a larger desk) had two support pieces missing that I have yet to receive months later. (Not for lack of asking.) I have about every kind of power and hand tool for wood working and auto repair, and I would still say this unit is not worth the time and effort to pull out of the box. I wish I had not. Better to go thrifting or check Craig's or buy the lumber and get busy cutting, drilling, leveling, instead of buying this absolutely ridiculous product. The result is likely to be much more sturdy. If you built such a shelf from scratch in your kitchen with hand tools and canned goods holding your materials in place, it would go together in a much more straightforward and logical way and you'd have a real wood shelf. I did that about 50 years ago, so I speak from experience.

Great little shelf. Smaller than expected; however, definitely worth it for the hardware. Might need more than just one or two depending on what you use it for. I used it in my classroom - it worked well for my textbooks. Honestly for the price, well worth it!

Produto muito bom, foi bem fácil de montar e vem tudo que vc precisa pra montar até a chave de fenda vem, o material é bem forte eu achei que ia ser fraco por ser mdf mas n é, ele é muito bom super recomendo e o envio foi maravilhoso eles são super atenciosos para nada acontecer com ela

Es perfecto para colocar tu colección ✨️ No es muy alto pero la parte superior funciona para colocar cosas que son mejor de ver desde arriba, es fácil de armar, lo hice sola :)

This bookshelf was exactly as shown and what I wanted. Well made, no parts missing and easy for my husband to assemble with no complaints. Looks lovely with all my books, Would highly recommend.
