Plenty of patterns in book, very informative for beginners. Not disappointed.

I love this book as it is so clear on the subject of overlockers, which are, let's be honest a most complicated but brilliant machine for the home sewer as it can speed up your sewing immediately by finishing and securing your seams whilst trimming your lovely homemade items!!! Although these machines can strike fear and loathing into the most patient sewing enthusiast, but, once mastered you will never look back! The most stress inducing part is the threading of the loopers and needles. Yes this book does portray OVERLOCKERS, SERGERS AND COVERLOCKERS A COMBINATION MACHINE much is explained using the different functions where only part of the machine is threaded depending on what you wish to sew hem overlock or decorate all of the functions are very well explained and everything is photographed in an excellent manner for all to learn, I would therefore recommend this book highly to anyone who wishes to take their sewing to the next level. Praise indeed to the author CLEMENTINE LUBIN :)))))))

Really explains how the machines work and how to manage problems, saved my sanity.

It has a lot of information for a reasonably priced book. Worth the price.

a really good value beginner book, love it

Nice and easy to follow

This is good if you have a Singer machine. I was disappointed that it didn't give any information on using other makes of machine and none of the patterns were of any use to me and even if they were they were too confusing as they were all printed on top of each other and I've no clue on how to use them this way as no explanation on what to do

I was excited to receive this. A quick flick and I was amazed at the ease of use, the projects available to do and then surprised to find the patterns so neatly placed in the inside of the back cover. I cannot wait to use this book as thoroughly as possible.

Book was high quality even though listed as used. Very satisfied with book.

Great book — recommend if you just bought any of these machine — good reference

facile a comprendre, jolie projects

A well presented book, but it left me with a desire for a coverstitch machine and an accompanying video. I would recommend this book to those of us lucky enough to own a serger and a coverstitch machine ( I bought one recently). The sizes go up to 14; unfortunately I’m a 16 with the need of a full bust version which means I’ll have to adjust the pattern for the Sailor-Stripe Top substantially. Despite the hurdles I envisage I think I’ll have a go at the Sailor-Stripe Top because the design appeals to me, and if I wish hard enough a sew-along video may appear on the internet soon.

This book has been a lifesaver for me. I got my first serger for Christmas from my DH. It is actually a serger/cover stitch combo. The manual that came with it is good but I find using this book in conjunction with the manual has been invaluable. So thorough and great photos. It will always have a home next to my machine.
