Update (original review below). Manufacturer reached out to me after my review and discussed what printing settings I had tried. After some troubleshooting, they agreed to send me a new roll to try. The new roll arrived quickly and after a bit of fiddling I managed to get two great prints out of the new roll. I will say that the filament was a bit more finicky than normal PLA but once I got the settings right it looks great. I attached two pictures above, one showing the quality of prints of an octopus. The initial roll is in front and the completed print is in the background and the second picture. I highly recommend this filament and would not hesitate to buy it again despite the initial issues due to the manufacturer's excellent customer service. I will start off by saying that this filament looks great based on the layers that I could get to print properly. That being said, getting this to print without adhesion and clogging has been impossible for me with various settings. Adhesion to the bed seems great and the first few layers print very well. After a few layers though it seems like the filament begins to clog the nozzle and then skips layers, eventually ceasing to print entirely. I have tried adjusting temperature upward in increments and also slowed down the print speed, but I cannot get good layers. I also hear a popping noise from the nozzle which makes me think that the filament might contain excess moisture. I have tried the exact same file with both normal PLA and PETG and it prints fine which seems to indicate that the culprit is this filament. If you can get this to print successfully I think it would look fantastic, but I have not been successful so far.

Worked well, we used it up in a month printing Christmas things. Happy with the filament, did not have issues like some cheaper versions. The color was really neat and good for Christmas things.

Update: I had originally had the issue below. The seller sent me a new roll and it's printing flawlessly. The first roll seemed like it might have a moisture problem. I could hear it popping when extruding thru the nozzle. The second roll has been printing with no problem at 200 degrees; 50mm/s! -10S , V6 Hotend, TH3D EZABL bed leveling, TH3D Tough Extruder; I could not get this to print for more than 2 hours without clogging. Same model prints fine with Amazon Brand Filament or Hatchbox Cool Gray. Tried temps of 200, 205, 215 degrees with .4mm nozzle and then switched to a new brand new .6mm and tried 200 and 210 degrees with no luck. Used almost half a roll attempting to dial it in. Going to refund if possible. Filament seems unusually moist -- lots of popping sounds as it is being extruded. Unfortunate that I could not get it to finish. It seems to be beautiful effect/color on the object up until it clogs.

The texture on this is absolutely stunning. Everything about this filament just works. It's durable, pretty, and I was very surprised with the smoothness of the final print without any tweaking or troubleshooting. It has a wonderful sparkly look that absolutely did my Flexi Turtle justice. This is an absolute go to for any Flexi Factory model!

Although the color is beautiful, this is, without a doubt, the worst filament that I have ever used. The filament package was vacuum sealed, and the bag was not violated in shipping; however, there are multiple flaws that make the filament unusable. The surface is rough. The diameter is out of spec ranging from 1.71mm to 1.80mm on the portions that I tested with my micrometer. In spite of it being sealed, I was experiencing popping and clogging when I tried to use it. Drying the spool in my filament dryer reduced the popping but did not entirely eliminate the popping. It made no difference to the clogging behavior. On the last attempt to print with it, this filament clogged my nozzle so badly that I had to disengage the drive and manually clear it. I will NOT risk using this again. Every long print with this filament fails due to the inconsistent blend and clogging. Other PLA, including other silk PLA, from multiple different manufactures prints fine. Because I was unable to attempt longer prints within the return period, I'm now stuck with a very expensive doorstop.
