These locks are perfect for chaining my motorbike up. Out of all the locks that ive purchased since being a biker since 1975,these are the best. I'm well impressed that the keys serve both of them so I am going to make use of them both because I use 4 chains to secure the motorbike, (less keys to mess with). The locks are well made & robust. I recommend you bikers out there to purchase these German locks, they are very good value for money. Was impressed how quickly the locks were despatched and delivered on the same day I ordered them.

Brilliant as usual. top marks

It is easy to use. Its outer dimensions are 4" by 4" so it is not small but feels solid. I tested the steel and it is certainly hardened. The silver part of the lock is a plastic ring which is turned to reveal the lock mechanism plastic. Initially the plastic ring on my lock was very stiff and I had to gently rotate it using a large pair of pliers to free it off. It has worked fine since and I have uses silicone spray on the lock mechanism and behind the plastic ring to keep everything moving properly. The lock is quite heavy. I use mine with a wire rope and I have little doubt the wire rope is the weak link not the lock. You could not use the lock on its own to secure a bike - it is simply not big enough to fix around the frame and anything else at the same time. Used with the wire rope it is quick and easy to secure a bike to most things. The plastic ring in the centre of the lock can be rotated to cover the lock mechanism and keep water out - it seems to work but time will tell.I think it is a pretty sound purchase though one or two people have complained about the lock failing. I see no signs of that happening to mine but time will tell. I give it four stars for now and will revise upwards if it keeps working without problem.

The lock looks quite resistant with such diameter. However, it can make slow to close the chain. You need to make sure that the U is properly inside of the lock, otherwise the key won't turn. Also I needed to cut a little of the protective plastic on the U or it wouldn't fit the chain I got. Also for opening it, sometimes it needs some pressure by tighting the U against the lock.

Pas très robust. Les maillons ne sont pas complètement soudées et le cadenas ne me semblent pas très sécurisant.

Die Vielzabl an Schlüssel für einen einheitlichen Satz Schlösser ist sehr praktisch. Das Schloss ist massiv, aber leicht zu händeln. Die Schloss-Mechanik bewegt sich reibungslos - es zwickt nichts. Lediglich die Überkappe der Schlossöffnug klemmt hin und wieder und kann auch mal nerven.
