I had experienced a lot of troubling external itching. It was so bad I went to the doctor for tests but I had no infections, nothing they could find. I tried a few products designed for vaginal itching, such as Monistat and Vagisil, but it wasn't really a vaginal issue. Those products also had a harsh smell. I finally realized it was simply post-menopausal dryness of the outer skin. I decided to try Replens, specifically the one for external itching, and it works very well. It makes me feel much more comfortable. It has virtually no odor and the little it has is not unpleasant. So glad I learned of this product and purchased it!

I have only been using this product for about a week since its arrival, and I can already tell a difference. I’ve been struggling with vaginal irritation from extreme external dryness and nothing has seemed to work. My doctor prescribed me Estradiol for internal use, and mentioned I could apply a small amount externally to see if it would help. But that was a no go. After looking online and reading through tons of reviews, I landed on this product. Little bit goes a long way! This is a clear, no smell gel with a soothing effect, as it feels cool after applying. Only lasts maybe a minute then subsides. I apply a small, pea sized amount in the morning and can go almost all day without feeling irritated. Including when going to the restroom whereas before, felt like I was wiping with sandpaper and just irritating it more. I then apply the same amount before bed, may not be needed but I feel the extra application keeps any dryness at bay. I will also mention that I have very sensitive skin, and I am very pleased that I have not experienced any sensitivity or bad side effects since using this. Additionally, I like that this is hormone free, as I am trying to minimize having to use hormones until I can no longer put it off. Even the internal Estradiol cream is very low in hormones, just wish it helped with the external situation more. Overall this is great for restoring vaginal dryness and irritation, especially if going through perimenopause/menopause!

The moisture level is great. It really helps in the irritation and the discomfort of the dryness. It would be nice if the quality came in a bigger tube it would run longer. I had to use it more often at first and everything got better then I started to use it twice a day. It really seems to help. It doesn't take much to use but it can depend on the person and the situation. I did do a subscription for this but I think I need to go back and change the month if I can. I have not found this in a store that I shop in so, I can't say about the price but I think it is worth the money I paid for it. Gad that Amazon has this because I can not find this in the stores. Update for August 7, 2025. I order more of the this along with some eye drops that I have to use. I got the eye drops but NOT the replens. Put in for a replacement item and still do not know if I will get it or not. Still going to give five stars for the product but I have to say whoever packs the items Please make sure you put everything in the box or bag.

If I could, I would give this product a ZERO. Replens was made to counter all the discomfort created by vaginal dryness. However, it has Carbomer, Benzyl Alcohol, and Sorbic Acid in it. All are acids and cause *burning.* I couldn't wash this stuff off fast enough. I did NOT read the label. Because of my allergies, I usually do. But my trusted gyn recommended it, so I tried it without reading the label. If you have experienced burning from face masks with hyaluronic acid, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.
