Well worth the price.
Misplaced my existing setup, needed a replacement quickly.Had it at my door in under a week, from box to spinning frames in maybe 5 minutes.Pros: main body is solid, all parts go together well. Form and function.Gear ratio seems nicer than the one it replaced, less crank at the handle for more speed in the barrel.4 frames fit well enough, 2 brood or 4 super.Cons: legs are a bit flimsy, they are holding at the minute but don’t like the flex they are showing. I will likely get some plywood to fasten this down too before next harvest. The slots for the brood frames are very tight, could have a little more tolerance designed in.Small gripes on my part, well worth the money and should last me a while. Would buy again without hesitation.

Good for a hobbyist
I have only 2 hives so this suits me perfectly. I wanted to be able to extract on my own schedule and not rely on using friend’s bigger extractor. It’s a large apparatus so be sure you have a place to store it. It went together well and I found it easy to use. It does jiggle around a lot as you spin it, but it gets the job done. I’ve done 6 frames (3 at a time) and it did a great job. It can get tiring so I see why people with more hives need the electric extractor. The low price gave me just what I needed. It was easy to clean.

Good for Hobbyist
As a first year keeper, I bought this as an economical way to extract my honey without having to rely on anyone else. I am pretty happy with how it works. I bolted mine to a wood base, which also allows me to stand on it for extra support. It's easy to use and seems to extract the honey well. My only complaint is with the plexiglass covers. I had to trim a little off the plastic pins that sit inside the extractor to hold the covers in place because the frames hit them while spinning. That fixed the issue, but the cover design is just not great. For a few dollars more, they could have just put hinges on them and it would have been a much better design. I'll probably retrofit mine with hinges next season. All in all, it works well for a hobbyist. After using it, I don't see any reason I'll ever upgrade to electric. It's not difficult to turn the crank and I can use it anywhere without dragging a cord around.

A GREAT buy for the money!
This is NOT cheaply made. I put it together in 10 minutes. It was unbelievable how fast it shipped. The handle turns the insides very smoothly and quickly. This extractor is awesome!

Works great
Needed to bolt it down to get the most out of it, but works great

Quality good, price better!
Very good quality. However, you will need to mount it to a sturdy piece of wood (I used 1 inch plywood) as the legs are too wobbly at high rotations. Probably more noticeable if the frames are perfectly balanced (which they aren't generally).

Disapppinted
Hopefully, one of the gates I've ordered will work on this extractor because what is included will not. Will NOT seal to drum.**This gate works** Harder plastic with a few extra threads to tighten and secure. I used the O-ring that came with the original packed gate on the inside of barrel. Functional, no leaks.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07P5C3S5Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleIt slings honey, gate is over 1 1/2" above bottom of barrel and will require tipping unit to flow out, about 2 frames of honey worth. I have no confidence the "feet pads" will retain integrity, exceptionally small spotwelds. This units Original rating was before 1st use, and because there is no 1 1/2 stars, It stays the same.

Does the job but very wiggly
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The product does the job, enough for a small bee farm. Build quality:When using those legs the construction is VERY wiggly, unstable, installed bolts were not holding well and fell to the honey - had to add starlock washers and tight them up.
