KabelDirekt is a family-run company, founded in Germany in 2010, with the mission of offering good-quality HDMI cables at competitive prices. The company now offers a growing range of interconnect cables, plus other audio & video accessories, many of which are also available via Amazon. I have used quite a few of the company's various products and have found them all to be well-made and very reasonably priced for the quality offered. This Y Adapter Cable has a 3.5mm male stereo jack plug at one end and 2 RCA male plugs at the other; it is designed to connect the headphone socket of a music player to the Phono inputs on a HiFi, or similar purposes. I bought mine to connect an Amazon Echo Dot to the pre-amp of my stereo system and it works perfectly giving surprisingly high-quality audio results. There are a number of different cable lengths on the same Amazon KabelDirekt product page, so you should be able to find the best one for your needs. This 1.5 metre version is currently less than eight pounds from Amazon and represents very good value for money for the quality at this price

I have used KabelDirekt 3.5mm to 3.5mm cables before, with much improved sound quality especially in terms of the low frequencies. In fact I had tried one of the alternative manufacturers highly rated cables with more ratings to see what the fuss was about. I was disappointed, there was a lack of low frequencies, sounding lightweight in comparison. Point here is the cable can look nice, have 1000's of reviews but unless you hear them side by side you cannot be sure you are getting the best.With this cable I was replacing an old Fisual cable, a similarly cost effective cable that had been OK between a soundcard and a hifi system but knowing the difference the other KabelDirekt cables had made I was willing to try this one for such minimal cost (having spent over £50 pair on some other RCA cables in the past).Again I was bowled over with the improvement, sound characteristics were similar to the other KabelDirekt cables with an excellent low frequency response and tight controlled bass. Nice and balanced from low to high. They really shouldn't make that much difference for how much they cost.Highly recommend giving these a try.

I get the impression that this is a company that cares about the quality of the product that it provides. Nicely finished. At a price.On short acquaintance, I take no issue as to the sound quality or the connections. I am running the connection to active speakers through RCA female to male cables from the same firm. There has been a discernible improvement from the splitter that I was using before.I doubt that longevity will be an issue as the connections are basically static. TV headphone jack out to RCA female on the speakers.What I would say, and the company might like to take note:1. There is no indication of the length of the split end of the lead. That matters to me and probably to others. Were there an option with a short jack end and a long split to the RCA male I could have done with two cable, and therefore fewer joint. At it is, the split at the RCA end is very short. That might suit some where the jack plug is to a mobile end such as a phone, but is not helpful where the L and R speakers with their single RCA connectionare placed apart.2. Having very faint red and white text to indicate which channel is L and R might seem classy but it is functionally third rate. Much better to have a large red R and a large white L. Or even a clearly visible ring in the appropriate colours.I hope that the manufacturers/distributors take note.

I've purchased several items from KabelDirekt ... because the first one I got was so excellent and of such high quality (in terms of build quality AND especially in terms of sound quality) ... that now I keep coming back to them to buy more stuff. I can't stop myself. Somebody please help me. These KabelDirekt products are the all-time bargain of the century in terms of audio bang-for-buck. You can really tell that they've put a huge effort into making a quality product that works well, that lasts, and that most importantly lets the music through crystal clear. OK, they are not as good as £200 cables from Chord (a UK high-end audio cable manufacturer) ... but they get you 85% of the way - and you'd really need a system that's way above average to tell the difference. So ... buy these cables with confidence, you will not regret it. I've had years of experience with all sorts of audio cables, including ultimate hi-fi ones costing several hundred pounds for just a short length ... and, compared to those, or to anything else on the market, KabelDirekt are absolutely unbeatable value. Forget the 2 quid, 3 quid, 5 quid type cables - just spend a couple of extra quid on these, and you'll be sorted.

Being an audiofile I wanted a quality cable for my stereo system and this one did not disappoint. When I connected by ipad to my stereo receiver there is crisp sound and you could hear all the intricate details of the music.Giving this cable 5 stars for quality and price. Highly recommend!

I took a chance here as I don't know much about KabelDirekt but, oh my goodness, what unbelievable quality and value-for-money it is! Up's the quality of the music in a major way in every important area of the frequency range, plus, smooths out the music dramatically.Especially at this price, a must-have for all music/audio lovers, I mean that. Don't hesitate!
