My concern went way beyond my injuries. I’d been used to doing gym classes 3 or 4 times a week and lots of walking. Surely with no exercise and a very inactive lifestyle I’d gain weight and lose fitness? But where there’s a will there’s a way. I discovered I was getting stronger on my left side just by lifting myself in and out of my wheelchair. And so this became my exercise (along with eating very carefully). After 9 days I got a boot fitted for my leg rather than the heavy cast and I decided to start doing workouts. Obviously I was limited. No jumping, no weights and nothing that put weight in my right arm (still in a cast to the elbow). So I got out my Pilates dvds - all 10 minute solutions - and got to work. I discovered I could do most core workouts as they were mainly mat based. And then I found I could do the excellent leg workout. Then I found I could do the stretch section and most of the arm and shoulders workout. (By using weights in my left hand or holding two weights with both hands). I found the workouts very good - and effective. And they made me slightly rethink my ‘high impact is best’, idea. My body shape has been changing and with each week I can do more. I lost my arm cast 10 days ago - ahead of schedule. And lost the boot too - again ahead of schedule. So I was doing something right. I’m looking forward to being able to do every bit of this dvd with no limitations. But it’s a great workout. It’s not easy but it’s possible to do and get a very good stretch. Some of the moves are difficult at first but the adrenalin rush you get when you can copy her moves exactly is fantastic. I have now bought a few other Pilates Dvd's, but I seem to always come back to this!

Fantastic Introduction For Beginers
I had never done pilates before I bought this DVD. I thought that Pilates was for people who were already in good shape and just wanted more definition to their shape. I was so wrong! Brilliant
This pilates dvd is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone. When I started working out with this pilates dvd a few months ago I thought there was no way I could do any of the moves but I was wrong. For the first few days I was very sore, which is a good thing as I truly beleive in no pain no gain. Now I do the pilates dvd about four times a week for half an hour and I don't even think twice about what I'm doing. The moves can be picked up very quickly. I recommend the waist slimmer, buns and thighs and body blast sections. I noticed my body toning up within a couple of weeks, especially by stomach and if I do say so myself I now don't look like I have had two children as my stomach is now more toned than it was before I had kids. I have tried a lot of different excercise dvd's and also different excercise but I have never got the results that I have gotten with this 10 minute solution rapid results pilates dvd. My husband has also commented on the results which is great to hear. One word of advice is that when you first start the excercises and you haven't done pilates before, keep going. You might find it difficult at first but it will definately get a lot easier if you stick to it and the results are worth it.

Decent work out
After having bought blast off belly fat DVD I thought would try another from this range and opted for this one based on the good reviews. The exercises are very good especially the arm and shoulder section and total body blast section however I have got a little bored with the legs and bum section which is a shame as this is the area I really wanted to work. That said though it's good for a change and to alternate with the blast off belly fat DVD. Unfortunately the instructor in this one is a little annoying with her very fancy gestures etc. But I bet that's just me being picky.

Really enjoyable
I do not usually buy fitness DVDs but I wanted to give Pilates a go without having to find classes to go to or join a gym. I only just got the DVD and I did a few of the workouts. Firstly ouch, I have not stretched my muscles like that ever but I feel really good afterwards and not in pain. I think by doing the slim and sleek stretch segment afterwards really helped me not feel the pain when I was finished. Lara is really good, really clear in what she is doing and encourages you but not in an annoying way which is what has put me off DVDs before. I have sat and watched the DVD through just so I can understand it first then attempt each segment. You need plenty of room as you are doing a lot of stretching of legs and arms, you will need some light hand weights for some of the exercises and a mat or a carpeted floor but that is it! The exercise is simple but very effective and challenging if you have not attempted Pilates before but I can see it as something I will use a few times a week and depending how I feel I might want to progress but at the moment it is challenging enough for me! I did a lot of looking at other Pilates DVDs but I am really pleased I chose this one and I hope that I am as fit and bendy as Lara after a few more workouts!!

I have many of the videos in the 10 minute solution series. As usual, this video is 5 ten minute segments. The first one works the buns and thighs, the second works the arms and shoulders, the third is abs, the fourth is an entire body workout, and the last one is a full body stretch. This video is VERY effective and innovative. The instructor (Lara Hudson) keeps you on your toes with some new killer exercises. The moves are fresh and challenging and they are mixed with some good old Pilates standbys, so not everything is unfamiliar. I think that this is definitely the most challenging Pilates video out of all the 10 minute solution Pilates series. It may even be the most challenging one that I own, period. This would be great for someone that is bored with the same old routines and wants some new inspiration or for the intermediate exerciser that is stuck in a rut and wants to really take it up a notch. I would highly recommend this, it is wonderfully effective- you really feel the burn and I am definitely sore the next day! A beginner may find some of these exercises too difficult, but she walks you through them and explains everything, so it is easy to follow along and you could just modify if you have to. This is now one of my favs!

Faut dire que je suis américaine donc j'arrive à comprendre ce qu'elle dit (tout étant en anglais) J'ai trois dvd de 10 minute solution. En general j'en fait 3 séances de 10 minutes par jour. Je vois vraiment la difference. Je recommande.

The packaging and the dvd states that this is 10 minute Pilate solutions - but when played the disc show a 10 minute Fat Burner programme - Not what I ordered. Diese DVD ist das Beste auf der Welt! Die Übungen sind schon für Fortgeschrittenen, aber sind echt super effektiv. Ich bin sehr glücklich mit der DVD. Empfehlenswert auf jeden Fall! Die Musik, die die Übungen blegleitet ist super gut und die Sportlehrerin ist sehr nett. Es ist auf Englisch, aber einfach zu verstehen und zu folgen. Ich habe durch Pilates (ich mache schon seit einem Jahr)Muskeln bekommen und bin schlanker geworden. ich bin ganz stolz auf meine Arme :-) Pilates ist überhaupt nicht langweilig, wie man glauben würde. Tolles Produkt!
