Great for small spaces.
I use this dehumidifier in a 45 litres, airtight storage box where is store my 3D printing filaments. Filaments are supposed to be stored below 50% humidity and this small, nifty gadget is perfect for this purpose. I also chucked in a small temperature and humidity sensor to monitor the values. The sensor sends me a notification as soon as the humidity reaches 50%. Every time I open the box, the humidity rises sharply but the dehumidifier quickly absorbs it again. Re-charging is easy and within 24 hours this things is back in action. It gets quite hot during the re-charging process but I guess this is required to drive out any humidity. Don't expect it to dry your whole house! For this purpose, you will need something larger.

Small, slim, tidy and rather efficient in the right place.
What an amazing little device. It is slim and a great size for small spaces. I started off using this on the window sill , I know it is designed for cupboards, wardrobes etc., but I figured as the room I wanted it for is only 6 x 7 ft I thought it might work. I was pleasantly surprised, I still can't believe how efficient it is , yet so tidy and no mess. I admit it didn't absorb the entire condensation I would get on the worst of days, but there aren't many standard types that do. I was very impressed and I actually felt guilty when it had worked its little socks off soaking up all that water and it was time to recharge. Lasted 2 weeks in this room, which amazed me as the condensation is pretty bad. It is easy to see in the small window on the front when the crystals have turned green and easy to recharge, just plug in for 12 hours and it's ready to use again when all the crystals have gone back to being orange. Gets a little warm when recharging, so I popped it on a trivet, but I did expect this. I have now moved it to a cupboard for it to work its magic and my concience is clear! I would like another and I have recommended it to my parents who are planning to get one. Actually they have been after a loan of mine, but I simply won't part with it! I highly recommend this product.

Problematic - and the probable reason why
I received an email asking me to review this product, and so here it is. I have mine in a 9 x 7 summer house in my garden. It is July 2017 at the time of writing this review and the weather has been alternating between cool and rainy and warm and sunny. It took a couple of weeks or so for the crystals in this device to turn to green as the inside of the summer house is aired and not damp. There is only one plant in it which demands little water. What humidity there is probably comes mostly from my body (we all give out water from our skin and simply breathing) and the atmosphere. When the device indicated green, I took it into my kitchen and plugged it in. I left it on for several hours one evening, turning it off overnight. The following morning I turned it on again and left it for several more hours. It remained at dark green. I thought about that and decided to do a little experiment. Leaving it plugged in, I set it on my kitchen scales with it set on grams. I watched the scale reading go up and down and up and down, increasing by a gram or two, decreasing by a gram or two. It seemed to me that while the electrical supply was trying to dry out the crystals (the device only felt slightly warm, never hot), the crystals were absorbing any humidity in the air. Now, although my kitchen has plants in it, it was not noticeably humid at the time I was trying to get the crystals back to yellow. So I was left wondering just how long would I have to have this device plugged into the electricity supply while getting nowhere fast. So, I unplugged it and took the device outside and sat it on a paving stone in the full sunshine. The crystals rapidly started to change to yellow. So, if you are plugging this device in and expecting the crystals to turn to yellow in a relatively humid room, then you might just be wasting your time and electricity (even if only a small amount). It would seem that the crystals will turn to yellow without electricity if the device is in a warm and dry place. And NO, I am not suggesting you sit it on a hot or scorching radiator and risk melting the device—but I think you get my point. The device does not stop dehumidifying even when plugged into the mains and that answers the question from those who cannot understand it remaining green no matter how long they leave it plugged in. To be honest, I think it's a waste of money. PS - I bought a dehumidier (Meaco DD8L Zambezi) for my home and it works a treat. Sucks up water from the air like a sponge sucks up water, in no time at all!

Absorbent gel - not really as described but does work!
As per other reviews, the indicator ‘gel’ does not really glow any colour! When the instructions refer to “charging” the unit that simply means heating the contents to dry it out! Nothing is actually charged! Misleading marketing but it does seem to stop mould reforming under our sofa, so I guess it’s working!!

Very good, Compact & Environmentally friendly de-humidifier
I ordered this as it was the only dehumidifier that would fit in a really specific space in my home, we have shutter blinds on our windows and this just about fit in the gap behind them. I made this purchase as in the cold months the entire windows were covered with condensation in the mornings, leading to damp and black mould. I was skeptical at first, though the condensation had reduced, I wasn't sure if the device was pulling in any moisture as the beads on the front didn't seem to be changing colour. However, after having left it for a month without charging the beads finally indicated the device was full. This product does exactly what I need it to and I'm very happy overall with ability to re-charge the device, meaning it is better for the environment than disposable de-humidifiers.

Mini pro breeze is of no use to me.
Didn’t work for me! Little pro breeze dehumidifier didn’t make any difference in my car! Must be too small for a car! Maybe ok for a cupboard or drawer but not for car! Bit expensive for what it is! I’m afraid I can’t recommend.

Easy Breezey!
Bought this unit to clear condensation from a new storm porch we had just had built (it still had a concrete base, so was sweating out). I'd already used the usual moisture trap (which was working has expected), but they only last so long then need replacing. So, i looked for powered moisture traps (though wanted it to be battery powered - off rechargeable's).....What a pain that was! After some searching I found this unit + another.....And plumped for this one. The unit arrived accordingly, i unboxed it - and was promptly surprised at how compact it was (good point). Next, I placed the unit one side of the porch, and the other on the other side of the porch - and left them until the temperature dropped (cue, the condensation). By placing them next to the windows, you can instantly see how well they performing.....And to be honest, there was no difference. Both performed equally well. So, the only (and significant) advantage here is cost saving. Buying the normal traps means a new one every couple of months (at say £4 each) for say 6 months. This unit gives (I'd say about a months performance - but can be recharged to the life of the internal battery (which i understand is lithium - so at least a thousand times). So, if you only use it as above, it will take a year to break even. But i don't think that's the only point here.....It's reusable, costs pence to recharge....and your not sending it to land fill every couple of months (so, your also being eco aware (lol)). In a nutshell - it does the job .... and does it well. And yes, I'd recommend this unit. Note: I've read it takes sometime to recharge and can get hot. The time i cant comment on (cause I've not needed to recharge it yet); but getting hot is pretty common with a lithium battery (feel you mobile during a charge!).

Winter use in car – Long-term Review
At the price, I wasn't expecting too much from this dehumidifier, but the results so far have made a good impression... After initial “charging” - which took about 30 hours – the unit was placed in my car, in a rear door bin which (by coincidence) fitted its size and shape very well. The vehicle is in good condition and does not leak rainwater to the interior. The device prevented screen fogging in early mornings and lasted about a month before the crystal indicator turned green again. I notice in other reviews, comments that this device gets hot while plugged in. Well, of course it does – that's how the thing works. My testing showed a (slightly variable) mains current draw of some 16w, which seems reasonable. My only real criticism of the design is that the “window” through which we are supposed to view the crystals' colour change is very small, and it is often difficult to tell what stage of use they are at. In summary, the model bought PB-04, is adequate for car use – with the advantage that there is no water tank to spill when the vehicle is on the road. It would also probably suit a small bathroom or closet but would struggle to have much effect on a larger space. Good points: Quite effective if used correctly; good value, compact size. Bad points: Small viewing window.
