These are very easy lights to assemble, adjust and set to the right brightness. They charge quickly in the sun and are a beautiful addition to the garden and landscape. Excellent value. I bought a second box!

A 5 star product! These are well made, good strong light and really stand up well to the elements. We have very hot summers and snowy winters and out of 10 of these I’ve only had to replace 1.

So, I’ll admit off the bat- yes I’m keeping these and yes I’m purchasing a few more sets. Yes, it’s the best price / performance going on Amazon. And yes, the warm white is the better of the two LED options. The build quality is far better than others, the panels are larger and the battery pack is the best protected from the elements. (Buy rechargeable Batteries now anyhow, as no battery lasts forever). The critical problem with these is in the design. These could be so much better if the light itself and the panel could swivel independently on the horizontal plane. They only swivel on the vertical plane and it’s limited- the light will make contact with the panel section and prevent certain arrangements. Here’s why this is a problem: Not everyone’s home or landscaping is the same. However, you want the solar panels always facing south for optimal charge. But with this design, in order to accomplish that it requires the light to be facing north as a result. That may not be the most ideal configuration for your lighting needs. It’s highly unlikely you can outfit a whole yard with these and not have to make compromises for placement of the device, optimal sun exposure and lighting direction. If you don’t have all the panels getting roughly the same amount of sun exposure they will vary in strength and turn off at different times or begin to weaken earlier than others. So, there’s compromises being made..... What else is new? As an aside: don’t trust the reviews that are showing photos taken the first night out of the box or immediately after turn on! The batteries come precharged so you’ll see a much more uniform result before giving it a few charge / recharge cycles (again, depending on your landscape layout). The important photo to see is what they look like after they’ve been recharged a few times and on their way to turn off.... and then to know how many hours they lasted. If you notice the three to the left in my photo get a bit less sun. This is the result after about a week of trying to get things as perfect as I could. I can manage about 5.5-6.5 hours in Florida in November facing “approximately south” in an area that gets roughly 6 hours of sun, which isn’t bad I think. I figured their 8 hour claim was likely in exceptionally ideal circumstances and was realistic enough to not expect hitting that. With some optimization and experimentation I think I can better on this. So, expect to move them around a bit over the course of a week or so before getting things just so. That being said, not even considering the environmental issues or electricity costs, if you price the cost of in-ground lighting, cabling, a low voltage transformer and either a time or photo cells to manage turn-on and turn-off, there’s no contest in terms of value. We’re talking at least $500+ difference, not including installation costs. Throw in installation and electricity costs and environmental concerns and you’d be really foolish to not consider these at the top of the list of options. So, this truly is a five star item compared to all the other options out there both in-ground and in available Amazon solar options. But, you can’t have it all- be aware of what you are signing up for here. If you buy this you have to accept that they may not be perfect for your landscaping. Depending on your particular home, where it’s facing and what your needs are results will vary. But it’s certainly worth a shot given the headaches involved in other comparable options. By the same token I can’t get past the fact that if they simply used their heads and made a few minor design alterations that these would be orders of magnitude more functional and hassle free. First: Have the panel and light on different assemblies, allowing both horizontal and vertical swivel. Keep the LED assembly elevated above the panel enough to not have them intersect / get in each other’s way. Secondly: In a heartbeat I’d pay for a higher priced premium model with two (or one bigger one) rechargeable batteries and a larger panel for guaranteed 8-10 hours of working time even in a sub-optimal location. I think others probably feel similarly. Save yourself their disappointment and provide options. Even at $50 for two, it’s still leaps and bounds more affordable and simplified than buried landscape lighting. Thirdly: remove the obnoxious branding in white lettering on the front of the LED. Make it smaller, in a more subtle color or put it on the underside of the battery panel. It just looks tacky. If you had hired a qualified product designer before manufacturing truckloads of lights these features would likely already exist. Alas, par for the course with gray-market Far East Amazon options I suppose. Seems like they tend to ship 100k of something before even testing it and just cross their fingers.

I am surprised at the excellence of these solar lights. After several years they still work! I switched from the little plastic holders these lights sit on and instead used wooden stakes that raise them higher off the ground clutter. During the winter they sit in a dark place and rest. In thr spring, summer. and fall they shoot out a bright light iluminating a walkway at night. I thought I bought larger metal sticks but turned out what I chose was so wrong and worthless it was a joke. Get wooden dowels from a hardware store. They have a little button that can turn the lights off or reduce the brightness. They are so good I bought 4 more.

This is a great little product to illuminate my flag mounted on the side of the house. I love that there are no wires between the light and the solar panel, like my previous one. Once it was charged, it puts out a great amount of light and shows my flag perfectly

These are great solar lights. The one drawback is if these are exposed to a lot of rain, like in Seattle, they stop working after 8-12 months. If you have 20+ lights on large acreage it becomes cost prohibitive to keep buying these annually. If you live in a low rain place maybe they last longer. I don’t know.

These are very bright and are great for entrance signs! They were a great price tooo and great quality !

This product is defective and does not work. I had bought 4 lights in Nov 2024 and all of them turned out to be bad. After about three months of purchase, one or two bulbs did not turn on in each light. Now in all the 4 lights, at least two bulbs have gone bad. The light is also of poor quality. I live in Florida and get 8-10 hours of sunlight. So, there cannot be any issue of not charging. Most unfortunate part is Customer Service. I tried to point to Manufacturer's warranty but they would not take any responsibility. Instead they would treat me like a cheat. I am copying below the language from the e-mail that I have received. It is very important that potential customers should know the harassment that they will have to go through. I will recommend not to waste your money in buying this product as you will be just throwing your money. I will also file a complaint with Amazon that this product was sold under false advertising. This product will not last for more than 3 months but was sold as it will last for 3 years. Please read the important contents of the e-mail that I had received from customer service to judge for yourself if you would like to go through this hassle. Exact quote from the e-mail: "Could you please follow these troubleshooting steps to try and fix the lights? If they still don't work properly, we will send you new lights to 8908 address. Please kindly provide us with the number of lights that are still not working and the CODE number on the back of the solar panel (the fifth line). 1. Choose a proper position. 1) Avoid installation locations with any obstructions that may shade or block the sun's rays during the day. The location needs to be away from light obstructions such as buildings, trees, fences, bushes, or the shadows that these create. 2) Ensure that they are installed away from other light sources. If the solar lights are located near other light sources, the sensor may be triggered incorrectly, thinking that it is still daytime and preventing the lights from turning on. 3) DO NOT leave the solar panel close to the light bulbs on the same light; pull it a bit away. 2. Check for the switch button. Make sure the light is turned on: Take it into a dark room or cover the solar panel completely to test. Press the ON/OFF button a few times: (1) One press for weak light mode. (2) Another press for strong light mode. (3) A third press will turn off the light. 3. Clean the solar panel. (1) Clean the solar panel with a damp towel. DO NOT use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on the module while cleaning. (2) Wait for a sunny day and place the light in an unobstructed spot where it can receive direct sunlight for about 48 hours. 4. Reset and activation. (This step has successfully fixed the issue for many customers.) The batteries in the lights may become depleted, and the control IC may become inactive. (1) Take out the battery for about 30 minutes and reposition it to ensure that the battery is securely in place; screw the solar panel back on tightly. (There are four screws on the solar panel and they can be unscrewed to open it up.) (2) Shine a flashlight briefly on the solar panels so that they can receive the signal they need to start working again. In this step, please kindly also take a photo of the battery and wiring inside. This will help us identify where the issue might be. Thank you so much!" Even before the e-mail, I had tried everything to make the lights work. But to no consequence.

Poor quality lights compared to previous gen. Despite a full day of sun charging the units, lights don’t last for more than 4-5 hours after sundown. Also very variable levels of brightness - start off super bright and then dissipate to nothing. Poor quality a look elsewhere.

THE BEST PRODUCT I HAVE BOUGHT ONLINE. My garden is lit up with these spot lights - the warm white is a must. I ordered them from USA specifically because AUS only had white. I have built an outdoor shower these lights compliment it beautifully. I have two sets of these and they will last me for many years. Bright sunny spot a must to get the charge. Strong and sturdy. I am an emergency services worker and I don’t stuff around with reviews :) I paid extra for quick delivery and they arrived very fast and well packaged. This was during the heart of covid19 so simple was impressed. My garden gives me such serenity. I am very happy. Thank you!
