Text is not relief engraved or painted on it is surface engraved with a laser engraver. I will set the sign out the way I think looks best using Times New Roman font unless you state otherwise. Please note slate is a natural product and will vary it ranges from 3mm to 8mm thick and no two pieces will be the same which I think gives these slates their charm. The slates are cut by hand and may vary in size slightly but no more than 0.5cm. The text colour will vary from off-white to grey depending on the slate used, which is lacquered to enhance the contrast. Review: Nice item - Was pleasantly surprised. Lovely item well written on and a nice size. Will look very neat outside by the front door. Review: Nice Sign - Could be Whiter - This is quite a nice stylish sign (15 * 15 version) and is satisfactory for my purpose. The inscription is well presented although it is not as white as the promo image would have you believe. In fact it is more of a grey. Seems to me that another coat or two of paint is needed. Consequently, you may struggle to read the text at a distance, say, over 25 feet depending on the font. ## Features - Beautiful riven edged slate house signs to enhance the appearance of your home. - Manufactured from natural slate by Master Craftsmen - Surface engraved with laser technology, Supplied with screws, caps and pre-drilled holes for easy fixing - More sizes available - up to A3 40x30cms - After purchasing your sign send seller an desertcart message with details of what you would like engraved (e.g. I would like 35 Albert Square in Harrington font on 2 lines please) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00FAMA22Y | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (112) | | Date First Available | 19 Sept. 2013 | | Manufacturer | Slateworks | | Manufacturer reference | ZJSJRJ | | Material type | Stone | | Part number | ZJSJRJ | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Slateworks - **Colour:** Grey - **Manufacturer:** Slateworks - **Material:** Stone - **Mounting type:** Door Mount - **Pre-printed:** Numbers - **Size:** 15x15cms - **UPC:** 700461069935 ## Images ![Slate House Sign Name Number Door House Sign 15x15cms - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1mkIU+zc6L.jpg) ![Slate House Sign Name Number Door House Sign 15x15cms - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-+kAXc1AL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice item *by H***S on 25 March 2019* Was pleasantly surprised. The inscription is well presented although it is not as white as the promo image would have you believe. In fact it is more of a grey. Seems to me that another coat or two of paint is needed. It went on the wall easily. There was a little nick out of one of the corners and the writing isn't quite as stand out as I thought it would be but all in all its good. Good value too. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/51871005-slate-house-sign-name-number-door-house-sign-15x15cms](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/51871005-slate-house-sign-name-number-door-house-sign-15x15cms) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
