Harnesses Energy Efficiently
I was just able to hook this up to an older generator. It worked okay but I need a newer generator to it up to its full potential however, I'm pleased with it's ability to harness energy.

No frills and expensive
I got this panel to supplement my 120 and 60W panels that go with my battery bank. I don't have the solar for camping, but in case the electrical grid pops for a few days - I will be able to power lights, fans, maybe even a hotplate, and radios when everybody else has no power. Since I have two panels already, I thought I would apples to apples compare them.First, this is a heavy panel set. The Growatt panel weighs more than my 120W existing panel by about a pound. The case is hard on one side, but not the other, and neither side is truly padded. The Growatt comes with no other accessories except the attached cables. There are two kickstands on the panels - and they are supposed to stay closed via magnets when not in use. Unfortunately for me, the magnets are not lined up very well or very strong, so the kickstand flaps around when moving the panel. In the pics, you can see the Growatt panel on my existing 120W panel. I set them up like this so I could quickly compare the charge rate before the sun moved. I laid the panels flat to get the same angle to the sun for all of the tests. Fortunately, my battery bank came with a slew of connectors, and the connectors were set and ready to go before I started testing. I plugged each panel in individually, so that there would be no interferences, and all panels were swapped in less than 10 minutes for the test. All of the panels stabilized within 30 seconds or less, so I think this comparison is valid, but not definitive. The Growatt panel was producing 73 watts, so has a rough efficiency of 73%. My 120W panel produced 82 watts for 68%, and the 60 watt panel made 47 watts for 78%. The Growatt panel splits the difference between my existing panels, and looks pretty good compared to the 120W panel. The Growatt panel is sturdy - it flexes much less than my other panels - and you can feel the difference in the weight. The lack of external pockets is not a deal breaker for me, but I worry that a plug will sneak between the panels and crack one. Fortunately, this panel will live at home where it is safe. I had no problems with the connector as I have many adapters - but I would look into this before getting too much equipment, that may not be compatible out of the box. What can I say, but it works!

Heavier than some, which is great during wind storms
We tested this solar panel yesterday during a severe windstorm, it recharged our Jackery Explorer 300 in just a few hours. It was easy to plug in and set up using the fold-out supports on the back (took less than a minute). It is heavier than our other portable solar panel unit, but this turned out to be a very good thing since the wind was blowing about 15 to 20MPH with gusts up to 40MPH. These solar panels didn’t budget although our laundry drying rack went flying and a 50’ tall white ash tree very suddenly blew down in our duck yard (thankfully our ducks all survived without injuries). Consider this: many power outages occur during wind storms when trees damage power lines, this is why we’re pleased to have a heavier portable unit that can be used when winds are blowing hard. Impressive, and it certainly does it’s job without any hassles. Folds up for storage, we stashed ours behind our couch and can’t tell that it’s even there.

Durable portable solar panel.
I am new to the solar panel power world and am just learning about what it takes to put together a power station and solar panels. I am mainly interested in emergency situations since we live in a hurricane prone area and after last year's storms, I wanted to start our emergency kit to include solar energy. This panel is really well made and is very durable. It comes with a very nicely padded case to store it in. I hooked it up to my small power station and it works great. I would highly recommend this solar panel because of its craftsmanship, and it appears it would last a long time.

Awesome 100 watt solar panel.
I received this today and had to run out and hook it up and see how well this 100 watt 24v solar panel works . The sun was perfect and the voltage was 20.2v on the PV line and my Mppt controller 14.5v charge rates on 2 - 6v 235 AH deep cycle flooded batteries in parallel 12v 235 ah total . This solar panel is light for its size and came with a nice bag for transporting the panel .it folds inside very nice . The MC4 adapters make this solar panel very compatible with most solar controllers and easy to hook up . Definitely one of the best 100 watt folding panels I have ever seen . Great product I will definitely be getting more of them .

No problems at all!
We placed this at the top of our cargo container camper bathrooms for our tent campers at the campgrounds and it has been very effective at running the lights. Charges up enough, even on a cloudy day, to run two LED lights all night long! Fairly durable, but secure it well in case of high winds. Love how simple it is to set up! Well worth the price and I definitely plan to get more.
