CoolDownMat - Black Hair Straightener Heat Mat

I have had this mat for some time and have been happy that it does the job in protecting the surface from heat while the straighteners are cooling down. It also has a good grip so that the straighteners do not slip off the mat. Yesterday this was tested to the max when I accidentally left my powerful GHD straighteners on for 9 hours! The mat was very warm but had no damage or signs of melting and my dressing table underneath was also warm but completely undamaged. I think I can fortunately say that this mat did an excellent job.

This mat is brilliant, have always propped my straighteners up on something handy but have a new dressing table and didnt want to risk marking it, this mate is really good. The only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is because the colour choice was very limited.

Brilliant replacement for one I lost. In fact this one was far superior, being less ‘flimsy’ & with the cable guide,is more supportive of the straighteners, minimising the chance of them sliding around & burning carpets or surfaces. Would recommend this!

I bought this for my wife as she was always leaving her GHD down on a wooden unit while it was hot. The result being scorch marks and potential fire hazard. Since getting the mat, it eases my mind, allows the GHD to be used without the heat soaking through to the wood beneath the mat. Excellent item - I would highly recommend it!

Just what needed for straighteners. Can rest on even when still using, no slip rubber so no chance of falling off. Makes them very safe. Would recommend

This mat is one of the best things I have bought. It is sturdy, compact and not unsightly. It easily fits my GHD's and has saved my dressing table from scorch marks. I would also recommend this company, as their service has been speedy and efficient.
