Super cute, great value and is fun for the garden! However, if you are putting it in a small space, there is A LOT of water loss due to evaporation and water falling out of the bin/pond area when in use. I had it in a small bird bath and the water would run dry! Put it in my kid’s little pool (the size of a small pond/water feature) and it is great!! My grand kids love it and play with it—super durable! My friend even purchased one upon seeing mine!

It took some time to get this to work optimally, but once we figured it out it's pretty good. It needs to be stabilized or it will float around and basically empty your water source. Once kept in place, it will recirculate the water like it's supposed to. You need to keep an eye on the water lever because even thought the pump recirculates the water will eventually evaporate. This item has to been in direct sunlight to produce the best results.

Fountain works great but is not appropriate for a birdbath. It sprays the water too high & out of the birdbath onto the yard no matter which adjustment I use. It also moves around with even the slightest breeze. It would be great for a small pond. I thought it would be ok in birdbath but just not what or how I expected it to work. It's still a great Fountain though.

Stopped working

This is the 2nd time I've ordered one of these. The 1st lasted 2 years and honestly, I think a hot summer when it was allowed to run dry more than once killed it, so that's on me. I really like the upgrade with the surface coated with glass instead of just the plastic panel, it looks nicer and I think it will probably last longer and be easier to clean. I don't use any of the fountain attachments because I prefer just the gurgle of the pump itself. The sprinkle fountains would be great in a small pond, but for a birdbath it is too prone to get windblown or fall outside the perimeter which can empty a birdbath pretty quickly. I'm a little amused at the multiple reviews that complain about the fact that these don't work at night or on a cloudy day... it's a SOLAR fountain, there's no battery backup, that's how it works. It's worth it to me to not have to run wiring or worry about energy consumption. It does in fact run some even on a cloudy day, and I've attached a video showing it working on a day that was quite overcast. It won't run continuously on those days but it does put out a bloop every so often. The still photo shows it on a sunny day and it really puts on a good show. These fountains seem to be well made and I look forward to more years of enjoying it in my garden.

I do not like to leave bad reviews. Buyer beware this is a solar light but only works when you have direct sun light on it. I wish I had known or paid attention. Yes, this is solar, and it does work WHEN there is LIGHT on it. Other wise it does nothing. There is no battery in this. It works only off sunlight! So if you have no sun or it is in the shade like our fountain, then this will not work. We also noticed after a year, this thing is falling apart. It's not very well built and I will look for one that will run with a battery when no sunlight. If you have a fountain FULL of sun then your golden, no sun then you purchased the wrong item!
