A very good compact size. Works excellent ! Good Product, came in the factory box nicely packed and fast delivery. It’s get hot on the housing while using it which normal for any electric stove top.

Loaded with 14 wide mouth pints this unit will not in 90 minutes heat up the canner to a boil at MAX setting. It cycles on and off every minute and a half and it is unsuitable for canning. With a claimed 1500 watts I was hoping it would work..... IT DOES NOT ! No one will have the patience to wait over 2 hours just to begin the pressure cooking process.

After the grid went down in Texas, we purchased an electric generator to ensure we could have warm water. Should the power go down?So we need a hot plate that would work for stainless steel, cast-iron, aluminum pots and pan. When this one arrived, we were concerned with the size of the plate, not being large enough for some of the larger pots. However, when we tested it, we were pleased with the fact that even a large pot walled within five minutes using a generator.Since the test we have fried fish, potatoes, caramelized, onions, and cooked hamburgers on this grill, and it has worked perfectly. We used with induction cast-iron and aluminum pans. All conductivity was perfect.Highly recommend.

I bought it to use with my pressure canner but it never got hot enough to build the pressure up in my canner. I still use it to heat up the lids and jars so it isn’t a total loss.
