Love this mix!
I have always been a huge Chex Mix fan, so when I found Catalina Crunch Protein Snack Mix, I was excited to try a slightly healthier option! I have been looking for snacks that still satisfy that crunchy, savory craving while also fitting better into my nutrition goals, and this one definitely delivers. The flavor is delicious and has a slight kick to it, but it isnโt overpowering. It has just the right amount of seasoning and spice to make it enjoyable without being too much. The crunch is great, and it feels like a snack I can enjoy without feeling like Iโm missing out.I also love that it has protein! Having a snack with added protein helps keep me feeling satisfied longer, which makes it a great option for busy days or when I need something between meals. This will definitely be one of my new go-to snacks. Itโs tasty, convenient, and a great alternative when Iโm craving something like traditional Chex Mix but want a better-for-me option. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Surprisingly hot and good!
Spicier than expected but that was a positive in my book. I devoured these. If you like the regular snack mix and you like spicy, you'll probably love these too.

Great taste!
I really liked them. I miss snack mix so much These were a good substitute. I was skeptical because I have not liked other Catalina products

Donโt like the new recipe
I used to love this but I am not a fan of the new recipe. Itโs very bland compared to what it used to taste like and itโs mostly just cereal thereโs hardly any nuts. Iโm not going to bother buying again

More protein, less sugar is a win-win for snacks
Seems a bit of a healthier option than some other mixes and not horrible tasting. Will buy again.

A flavorful and relatively clean protein/fiber snack
I am always on the lookout for high fiber/protein snacks to carry me through a long day at the office. Even just 10 years ago there simply weren't a lot of options that were mostly fat/sugar laden. Now there are tons - made from lentils, chickpeas, whey, etc. I was an early adopter of Catalina Crunch cinnamon toast cereals 6-7 years ago and was please to see them (finally) migrate to snacks. This mixture has a lot of familiar "cereal squares" minus the cinnamon. In that regard it was a little disappointing from a tactile standpoint but the rest of the mixture is nice. The cheddar flavor is strong but not overpowering or annoying. You will need to have a moist paper towel nearby to regularly wipe your finger tips Lol. The ingredients are relatively "clean" too. There are no artificial sugars and only 1g of real sugar/serving (1/3 cup). The saturated fat is a tad high at 2.5g/serving but only for a health snack. My only (minor) concern is for the emulsifiers (Xantham and Guar gums). There is emerging science about they're detriment. All in all, I will be a repeat consumer... in moderation :)

Why use the name "Catalina" if not living up to it.
I bought this because I have been using high protein snacks to avoid eating or cooking at certain times in my routine. This snack mix sounds great, but I apparently did not read that it was designed for the diabetic diet. If your diabetic, does it not have to taste good? That is my only concern. Snack food is supposed to be a treat that helps you avoid eating. For that to happen it has to taste good. Take, for example, the Blue Almond Nut Thins in any flavor or any brownie, cupcake, roll, muffin, or cracker by Simple Mills and you will get the point. Any regular trail mix is better that this mix despite the number of carbohydrates involved (note: not appropriate for diabetics). What is wrong is with this Catalina Crunch mix? Might I add here, that I do not wish to make a problem for this company, but they have to produce something that works as flavorful even if only intended for diabetics (which I am not). The mix misses the mark as follows: 1) when there are less than ten per cent cashews, you have to wonder why they bothered to mention it (other than regulations); 2)If any cashews are actually included, then they should be fresh from the outset of production and distribution (this lack of freshness makes the expiration date moot); 3) a spicy kick is when a chipotle, habanero, or some cayenne is used appropriately, not an over dose of cayenne in what might have otherwise been a palatable cheese nib; 4) the safflower oil, likewise, has to be fresh at the outset; and 5) the 80% of mix that is the little square "pea protein" crackers should be derived from pea protein that is also fresh as well as flavorful. Who did these people intend to serve this mix to? I, seriously, wondered that through out the snacking experience.Don't give up! Read the comments and make product better.

The Best Spicy Keto Snack
I canโt find any other crunch mix that packs the right flavor, spice and combo. It might be a little pricey but Iโm willing to spend that much for the taste and quality. More than anything, it is keto friendly.

Pretty Good
These hit that bits n bites/munchie mix craving, and they're just spicy enough for a good kick. If you eat more than one 1/3 cup serving, it might be a bit much, but I really enjoyed them. I want to try the cheese one next.My only issues, other than the price, is that the pretzels are very hard and the cashews are very soft, so if you have a texture aversion, or don't like being surprised by your food this might not be for you. I surprising love the nuts in with it, but the pretzels are a bit too hard, especially right after a cashew. Almonds might be better, crubch-wise. That being said, there's very few pretzels in there and they tend to settle to the top so it's easy to eat them all seperate. I also thought I wouldn't like how tiny the pieces are, but they're perfect.I saw a few comments about how the advertised pictures don't match the macros in the ingredients, but the bag I got was as advertised, with 10g protein/serving.I would order these more if they weren't so expensive for 4 small servings (35g/serving, 148g in a bag).

soo tasty yet sooo small.
this snack was soo tasty, yet sooo small. I took two stars off for the demure size of the packaging. it says that there is four servings in this package but for someone who wants to enjoy there snack, there's really only two servings. and for two servings, thats 300 calories. I mean, thats in the same range of a protein bar. not bad, but it could be better in my opinion.
