Do it do it do it!
Works great. I fish freshwater in very clear and moderately weedy environments. I use a ribbon tail soft bait black/green or black/orange and I place one of the worms on the barb. It’s been a bass favorite. Blue gill cannot resist these all by themselves on a hook. They are very strong and they don’t fall off the hook. If the worm didn’t get gobbled up I’d dare say it would last a couple hours in the water. It’s a great tool to have in your back pack or tackle box. If lures aren’t working these easily will save the day for fish that aren’t chasing or are already fed. For $5 it’s a great substitute for real worms. Plus they don’t make the mess of real worms and won’t die in the fridge. I recommend for sure.

The fish do like it
I'm new to fishing at 32yo and teaching myself, so while i wasn't able to catch a fish yet, they do nibble on this bait and one fish stole it because i reeled it back one time in and the fake worm was gone. I think I just needed to use larger hooks because I was fishing in the Potomac river which has a lot of big catfish species (blue and flathead) and I saw a couple huge fish breeching nearby. But yes, they do seem attracted to the bait enough to steal it from the hook. This is a great product if you're scared of handling real worms like me. Real worms have a scent that attracts fish, so the fact that this smells like something they're also attracted to is perfect. Also, you get six little containers for the cheap price, not just one small container. So definitely worth buying. Only complaint is i wish the worms were a little thicker because it's slightly difficult to get them on the hook since they're so narrow, but the fake worms are strong and stretchy just like real worms so they're hard to break.

A viable alternative to live worms, and much more convenient
I've had good luck catching trout (and one catfish) with these Gulp Earthworms (brown). Whether or not they are better or as good as live worms is arguable. But they're good enough for me to swear off live worms. These are less messy, stay on a hook better, and are always available in my tackle box. Easy to pinch off a piece any length you want. A few caveats: 1)These are sized like normal earthworms, definitely smaller diameter than night crawlers. 2)They are kind of stiff with molded-in shape so they won't wiggle as freely as say a Berkeley trout worm. 3)They aren't very rubbery or stretchy. Fish can bite off a loose end waving in the water. Just not as easily as they can steal a real worm. 4)Out of the jar they certainly do stink in a way that fish like. But I also add some ProCure night crawler gel scent, which I think makes them even more effective.

Small but effective
Pros: Fish love them. They go at it right away. They stink and have the right color to them. You can throw them in your tackle box/bag and bring them anywhere without worrying about drying out. Cons: They're very thin. Hard to get on a hook and rip off easily. You have to put them through the hook multiple times to stay on for multiple casts. If you aren't fishing for Bluegill you'll have to make sure there aren't any nearby, cause they'll easiliy pull these off. They need a thicker version. This would easily be 5 stars if they were thicker.

Should work fine
Just as described. Will find out how they work when weather improves and am out on water. Also fast ship, received overnight.

Extremely smelly
I bought these fake worms to not use a lot of real worms, the day I opened the worms and put them in my tackle box it smelled so bad I had to immediately throw it out and clean my tackle box. Even after washing the tackle box it still smelled terrible. If you buy these, don’t put them in your tackle box.
