Swanwick Fitover Night Swannies - Premium Blue Light Blocking Glasses - Orange Tint for Superior Blocking (up to 500nm) from Gaming PC and Smartphone Screen Glare - Sleep Support (Black, Large): Free UK Shipping on Orders Over £10 and Free 30-Day Returns on Selected Fashion Items sold or fulfilled by desertcart. Review: Excellent Glasses - I spend a great deal of time on my laptop before retiring for the night, and had been finding it very difficult to go to sleep, sometimes laying awake for 2 hours feeling wide awake. After reading reviews and watching YouTube videos on the Swanwick glasses I decided to purchase a pair, yes there are others available at a somewhat cheaper price, but you get what you pay for. IO have been using the glasses for about a week now and they certainly do reduce blue light, they take a little getting used to as the colours of images are changed, but the benefits have been well worth it. My sleep pattern has improved and I certainly go to sleep a lot quicker than before. This is a personal review, I paid for the glasses and am reporting my own experience to date. Review: Good fit, comfortable. - Great fit around my reading glasses. They really do block out blue light. I've been testing them this week and found the only issue to be my own discipline. They have definitely helped with my worst trait of reading from my phone in bed. I have found it much easier to fall asleep after using these for an hour in bed on my stupid phone! The only minor point is that they are not 'wrap-around' and so some light in a bright room will spill in under the rim. This I've found is minimal given that you are wearing a pair of glasses under these. Comfort is no different to wearing a normal pair of glasses. Would very much recommend to anyone who wears glasses.

These actually work!
yes I've been a bad sleeper and constantly on my devices, sometimes all night. so glad I bought these - fit as described over my glasses, and I can literally FEEL the difference on my eyes - stress of looking on devices is so much higher that I naturally just always wear these glasses. my sleep has definitely improved. I remember in the past being tired but unable to sleep... these glasses have totally helped. well worth the purchase.

W(B)earable but could be better
I purchased these as I spend a lot of time working with my laptop and had been suffering from tension around the eyes and lack of sleep. They come in a presentation box with protective cloth abg with drawstring, and cleaning cloth. The lenses are of a good size and the overall frame dimensions both mean that they fit well over my reading galsses. They seem to have helped with the tension and sleep problem but I do have a few quibbles. Firstly, I think it would have been better if they came in a glasses case suitable for their size rather than the box. It would be more feasible as I could then keep both my Swannies and my reading glasses in the one case. Secondly, in my opinion they are too bulky. By that I mean the frame is thicker than it needs to be and the result is that it is a bit uncomfortable wearing them due to the extra weight on the bridge of your nose (perhaps the shape and material of that part of the frame could also have been designed for more comfort). Given that a person is having to wear two sets of glasses, minimising weight/maximising comfort should have been a priority. More so, and my final issue, given the price at £51. I chose Swanwick as I thought they were US made only to discover that they are made in the PRC. Finally, This makes the price tag a little more galling especally given the design issues highlighted above.

These helped me sleep!
I bought these to aid me in sleeping with a healthy dose of scepticism. I've been blown away by how well they work. My eyes no longer feel tired and I fall asleep much faster than I'm used to. They do make everything bright orange but this isn't necessarily a problem for me. I frequently use them if I need to get up at night and they prevent the light from hurting my eyes. I am not a fan of wearing them over my prescription glasses due to having both frames in my field of vision however they work just as well without them.

The product itself is great. I have a normal pair for myself and this for my husband but he doesn't like using them over his prescription glasses he finds it quite unconformable, but he still use them as a normal lenses, just not as often as I wish because obviously he needs to use prescription ones to see.

Wouldn't be without them!
Really pleased with these glasses. As designed, the fit over my own prescription specs comfortably, and as well as blocking the blue light, they are very restful. Much is written on the issue of blue light, and it makes sense to take steps to minimise its effect as far as we can. These fitover specs do just that, and do it well. I even drive with them - day and night! Highly recommended!

Worth trying - although not especially deep for Fitover of prescription lenses
A TV sleep documentary advised the wearing of orange lenses to filter blue light for several hours before bedtime to aid sleep. Thought these were a bit expensive but I was so desperate to improve sleep that I decided to give them a go. I think they have really helped. I wear them constantly from 9pm to watch TV & filter general artificial light, then put them over my reading glasses while reading in bed before lights out. Although I bought the 'Fitover' type & my glasses are only 3cm deep they only just cover. But I now sleep initially for about 3 hours then catnap instead of just 90minutes, also slightly less head-achy in morning. I also wear them for daytime computer use & my eyes are less dry. Well worth trying.

I have a large head and these fit well. The frame is large enough to cover most of your vision.

If you love your eyes, this thing is for you.It protects my eyes from blue ray(and who knows what else) of computer screens. If you are sitting in front of computer for long time everyday and want to protect your eyes, this is for you. Additional benefit, it improved my sleep quality .Previously , I used to struggle to fall asleep after using computer or watching phone screens at night(which many of us do before going to bed). Now I can fall asleep immediately after using computer/phone on bed.I wear it outside my glass and it fits well. Many thanks to those who designed this !
