If you missed out on the close out prices you really missed out...
I bought the Bedell TBCE-28-G Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with Gig Bag) (New, Natural) this past summer of 2014. I have read about minor build quality issues but honestly I could not find one thing wrong. The materials are all AAA two year air cured woods, far superior to even Martin unless you jump up to a $10,000 price range, and then Martin offers these materials. I paid $500 for my Bedell, I compared it in every way to guitars costing from $3,000 to $8,000 and I have to say that the Bedell equals or best them in every case. Okay, it was made in China, and that was a concern for me, but if the supervision is top notch then the craftsmanship will be too, and that appears to be exactly the case with Bedell. Now I am so happy with this Bedell than I also bought the Bedell MBCE-24F-G Performance Plus Orchestra Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with Gig Bag) (New)... WOW is all I can say. These guitars will go up in value and a lot of people will be kicking themselves for getting hung up on the made in china label instead of really looking at the materials and know how that goes into building these now discontinued Bedells. Now Bedell makes in USA only and their prices are way up there, way way up there, and for good reason... and you know what, same materials, same know how, the only difference is where it is made. In the case of Bedell, it makes no difference, it's a Bedell, and as far as I am concerned that tops Martin, Taylor, Seagull, and Gibson...

Great tone and volume
I have owned this guitar since November '13. (I own the standard guitar, not the cutaway - otherwise has the same features) I use bluegrass strings on it and it gives it a little bump in the bass. The guitar has a really balanced tone and sounds very good. I play bluegrass and the guys tell me the sounds cuts through really well, especially when compared to my seagull. Not to knock the seagull, but this guitar has great volume to boot. The gold groover tuners, maple inlays, and maple wood binding add a really nice touch. Had an issue with the neck. Got it setup and now perfect. Easy to play, quick neck. FYI... Has solid wood, top, back, and sides. Bone nut and saddle. Ebony end pins. Bedell also makes Bredlove guitars. Reputable company.
