The media could not be loaded.  I frequently go camping / hiking with a relative and generally our wives like to stay back at Base Camp while we go off to explore.I bought this TDXONE A9900 radio in order to keep in contact with them while we are away.Traditional walkie-talkies are good but can be a little lacking when it comes to range, these walkie-talkies have no such problem and depending on the topographical features of the local area are theoretically capable of transmitting between 5-50 miles due to a high power 16w output wich is more than enough for our particular requirements.In the box you will find1x 16w radio1x 2600mah lithium ion battery1x charging dock1x radio antenna1x belt clip1x lanyard1x detachable flashlightSomething not included but you will need is a relatively cheap travel adapter as the charger comes fitted with a 2 pin plugSetup is easy, the battery is push fit, the antenna screws in place ( this could be replaced with another antenna if required as it is a standard sma connection) and the torch is clipped in place and secured using a retaining screw. There is a quick release belt clip that can be fitted or if you prefer a lanyard is included to attach to you wrist.These are extremely high power walkie-talkies that when coupled with a headset are perfect for commercial use by security teams, doorman, workmen where sites are large or even between two hunters trying to communicate silently with disturbing their quarry, the scope of use is endless.There is a detachable led flashlight that is quick release but can be quickly secured using a small retaining screw.The flashlight is surprisingly good and the 6500k led is capable of illuminating distances of up to 100 meters wich is very useful in an emergency. the units are ip66 rated meaning they are resistant to dust and water ingress so you have no worries using them in adverse weather conditions.The unit comes fitted with a 7.4v 2600 mah battery so the battery life is going to be extensive. With limited use a charge should easily last me multiple days and even subject to heavy use should have no problem lasting a full working day ready to be docked and charged overnight for the next day. Standby time is also good and can last up to a week without use.There is a low battery alarm to indicate when your battery is low and in need of charge. there is a fantastic battery saving feature where it will automatically turn off if there is no use for a long period of time so you won't have any issues with accidental discharge of battery when if it is left on accidentally.The charging Base holds the walkie-talkie very securely and has red and green indicator lights that illuminate to let you know when it is charging and when it is complete and ready for use.There are 15 channels so even when using in a densely populated are you should have no issue finding a free channel, one feature I like is that when selecting a channel via the dial on the top a loud clear voice announces what channel you are using so you have no cross-communication problems.So far I have not used it at more than a couple of miles but at this distance the volume was excellent and the voice transmission was crystal clear with no distortion or crackling.This is a fantastic commercial use radio that out prices and out performs similar units on the market today. so far this has performed flawlessly, I am really happy with my purchase and look forward to pushing the boundaries to see just how far this little machine will transmit.

I bought two of those for myself to communicate with my friend who lives just a mile away.They work amazing without any quality loss in sound. The best part is the power these beasts have. You can use it a few miles away without loss of signal or clarity.I really like them and they are much more fun than using phones, brings the old days back
