Saving water in the garden
This is an important addition to my saving water in the garden (now that we are on a water meter…..Well made and I like the child lock feature particularly.I get the sense that this will pay for itself in time and do the watering at times in the early morning since I don’t want my veg sat in water overnight.

Spot on for my garden veg plot!
This is ideal for any veg plot! I have a little area for growing in raised beds and this has really helped me keep a goo watering routine. The timer has multiple modes, including auto and manual, which allows for easy customization of watering schedules. The rain delay feature is also helpful, as it automatically stops watering when it's raining, saving water and money. The design of the timer is also great, as it's durable and waterproof, ensuring that it will last for many years. The LCD screen is easy to read, and the buttons are simple to use.I would definitely recommend this when you balance cost v quality!

Useful for semi-autonomous watering.
These type of gadgets are handy for setting up a watering schedule for busy people or if you are away from home for a period of time and don't want your garden to suffer while you're away. It's easy enough to setup and add timers for each outlet then just leave it to do its thing, the batteries, (not supplied) give a good few months usage before needing a change. You get a couple of quick connect adaptors and a tiny roll of PTFE tape to help stop leaking joints and a step down adaptor for smaller tap threads so it should fit most outdoor taps. One thing to note about this particular device is it's quite bulky, even without batteries it's a fair old lump to be hanging off a tap, it might be worth mounting it seperately from the tap and running a short connecting hose to it to take the strain off the tap mount and giving the option to easily disconnect the timer when not needed, just an idea.It comes with a rain delay function but it's a manually activated feature so if you're away from home and it rains, it's going to operate anyway potentially overwatering whatever it's there for, so if you need an automatic rain sensing delay this isn't the device for you, if it's for a greenhouse this shouldn't be an issue anyway.

Easy to use and programme
Simply screw onto your outdoor tap, add 2 AA batteries and set up your required watering times. The unit is larger and heavier than I expected, so you may want to use a small hose inbetween the tap and the unit if your tap is not 100% secure. I like the fact that there are two seperate circuits, which adds loads of potential uses - not just a sprinkler. Perfect for a greenhouse - recommended.

Both time and water saving
Outside tap water timer with two outlets. This is going to save me both time and water in the summer months. It's a well built twin outlet timer that screws straight on to your outside tap very straightforward to use and setup. I especially like the manual override button so you can still use it without messing up the timing programs you have just set. It takes two AA pencil batteries that you will need to buy separately. Not too expensive works as it should with no leaks.

Great when away from home
At it's current price of £23.99, I feel this offers very good value for money. The app is very easy to follow by following the instructions supplied with the QR code. I have since set mine up to operate in the greenhouse when i am away, due back late etc, so it is ideal to save me time and save stress of worrying about watering the plants. Especially now spring is here and seeds are germinating.
