Does this sunscreen have the chemicals that are bad for coral reefs?

Yes, it contains Octocrylene which is bad for coral reefs. However, they do not state it is coral reef safe. Any of these chemicals is bad for coral reefs: Octocrylene, Benzophenone, Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, Hexyldecanol, cetyl dimethicone, methylparaben, polyethylene, Propylparaben, Butylcarbamate.

Could you spray this on your hair occasionally, particularly when gardening for hours on a hot, sunny day? (To protect color treated from fading)

Yes you can apply it to your hair/ scalp!!I do it often when I'm in the sun however it is not a spray it is a very nice cream that'll go on your hair or scalp but smooths nicely and leaves no film . We love it and use it all the time outside.
