Great product and exemplary customer service!!!! Highly Recommend!!!
First purchased the wall panels for a section behind our TV. The panels arrived earlier than scheduled, which was great! Very easy installation and the wall looked so good we've decided to add additional panels on the rest of the wall. New panels again arrived early but were the wrong color. The Wood Veneer Hub team was very understanding and promptly sent us the correct panels. No questions, just great support!!! They even expedited the delivery of the new panels. Their sales (customer service) team quickly answered the phone and emails, even following up to ensure we knew when the panels would be delivered. Once again, great products and support! Highly recommend.

Simple-Easy & looks great
Very easy to install by myself. Only 1 box had any issues with messed up panels, but flipped the over and hammered the staples back in and added a few finishing nails and works great. When trimming it use a saw it did splint at the cut mark. It’s not a solid wood piece which is why, but you can easily hide that at the bottom portion near the floor and wood never notice.Love the look of the wall with this up. It’s 10ft ceiling and 110 inch wide length. Definitely deadens the sound and echo in the room. I work in the office each day via zoom and I can drastically notice an improvement in the sound I give out.Plus the look is fantastic!!

Would I purchase again, No.
I was reminded today by the product manufacturer that they initially sent me the wrong panels. How funny that they contacted me a year later asking me to remove my previous review when it was already long gone. They didn't even take a moment to look at their own product reviews page on amazon that shows what can actually be seen by the public. They had me searching for a review that didn't exist anymore lol.Anyway I did eventually get the correct color, although later than I'd hoped for, and used them on an accent wall in my guest bedroom. To follow up on the product, I found it difficult to make clean cuts on these panels and I used a bench and skillsaw. A lot of the board ends were chipped and not pretty so I had to put those ends of the panels where people couldn't see them. The material is lightweight and feels like plastic but its technically fiberboard, so its wood pulp mixed with resin and laminated or painted. The markup has got to be high on this one when you look at what MDF board prices are. It's not like they are an engineering feat, they're simply identical slim boards attached to a fabric backing.Seems to be holding up well, collects minimal dust, no warping issues so far, gives that "modern luxury" appeal. The reason I wouldn't purchase them again is because after a while when the excitement ends from sprucing up a room, or an office, they start to look and feel cheap. It was a fun project though.

Quality, Stainable Oak Veneer Slats
High quality veneer natural oak. High quality, black, thick felt backing. Veneer stains any color easily. I used 2 coats of stain and 1 coat of matte poly. Apply stain/poly after install—so easy. Arrived in perfect condition. This 62-year-old lady had no trouble handling the lightweight sections and cutting and installing alone. Used jig saw for straight cuts and multi-tool saw for outlets. Cuts like butter. Used Ryobi brad nailer and secured through the FELT only to drywall. No need to build a background grid structure or glue for a lightweight product like this. I only nailed into WOOD slats at the top- into marked studs where possible- (covered by black trim) and the bottom (not noticeable). Used wood filler for the few wood holes. Felt nails are invisible, so use all you want. I kept the existing baseboards and painted them black.TIPS: Use large level carefully. Push each 12" panel as close as possible to the previous one, your eye will see any inaccuracy. Use painters tape to protect the veneer while cutting. This 12' wall cost me around $1,000 on sale.

Not real wood
Before I purchased this, the representative assured that I can apply oil. Upon opening it, I realized this a vinyl material on top that looks like wood but feels Slick as plastic, and particleboard material underneath. From far away looks OK. The wood is about 1 inch wife, the gap is about half an inch.

Great product but be careful
The media could not be loaded. The slat panels did exactly what I wanted and more. They definitely need to be finished. I used one coat of stain and then 4 coats of Profin. As advertised, they are veneer not wood. They can easily splinter when gently sanding which can tear off the veneer. Though with care, I came out with a beautiful product that modernize an old fireplace. I did use 2x2s behind to help with the sound dampening. The room was very loud and the slats helped with that tremendously. A win win. Additionally, Morgan at the Hub was wonderful to deal with. She was timely in her responses and twice I was able to reach her by phone. If you realize you're getting veneer and take care in the prep, you will love this product.

Just what I was looking for
The media could not be loaded. This elevated our bathroom look. The wood is of good quality but it does break a bit. The value for the money is good and I ended up needing 6 panels due to the fact that they come in packs of 2 panels. I have some panel left but you can’t just purchase 1 panel so I have a little extra to use for something else in the future. This is a lightweight product and easy to install.

At this price - the quality is questionable.
With so many options for this design trend, I was interested in a higher-quality slat paneling and was willing to pay the premium for this item. The acoustic felt and slat quality is great, but I was pretty disappointed in the quality of the wood stain work. You can clearly see marks on the slats where the sealant or stain pooled on the wood service and did not dry evenly. Once I mounted the panels it is painfully obvious as you can see the stain marks across all of the panels. This detracts from the clean look that you'd try to accomplish by using these panels and does not meet the level of quality you'd expect by the price point. You'd need $600-$800 at minium to cover an entire wall with these panels, and at that cost, the build and stain quality should be better.
