Le Creuset Stoneware 34 oz. French Press, Marble Collection

I bought this cafetiere last November and wanted to wait until I'd used it a lot before doing a review. And the verdict is: I love it! Use it every day unless. Solid, perfect shape, great filter, beautiful rich graduated colour, and I think the stoneware keeps the coffee hot for longer. You will want to display this on your dining table (or breakfast, whatever) when you serve your coffee, especially if you get the matching espresso mugs! (Or the bigger coffee mugs, though I haven't actually got them as can't justify buying up every single Le Creuset coffee-related item!) If there is a downside, the only thing a friend pointed out was that maybe you have to be careful not to break it as it's stoneware, but this one seems to be going strong and I'm not aware of being more careful with it than I was with my glass one. And it does come with a good guarantee, unlike most similar items.

It's a typical good quality Le Creuset product, love the colour, robustness and the quality of this, and the thickness of the stoneware means your coffee stays warm for longer than it does in the thin glass cafetieres

This is a lovely Cafetiere. The colour is just as shown and it is very substantial. Being stoneware I am very careful not to knowk it against the tap when cleaning.

Didn't realise le cruset even made this! Half the price of John Lewis and big enough to make 6 cups of coffee. Winner

This is a well designed item, with a good pouring spout that doesn't dribble. The stoneware is more substantial than a glass cafitiere, so the coffee stays hot longer, which is particularly helpful if you've made a pot for one person. The filter is easy to clean and the whole thing goes through the dishwasher. As other reviewers have said, the cafitiere looks better on the table than it does in the picture. I've been using thing for about six months and love it to bits - it's a really good buy.

As expected, great desing, great materials. Keeps coffee warm for a long time, is even nicer than the picture. Totally recommended.

Looks nice but that’s it. First one went back because the handle was loose. The second one we have kept but it fails to keep the coffee hot, same for the matching cup. Avoid in my opinion, there are better options available.

This is a good looking cafetiere and works pretty much ok. LIke every cafetiere I have ever owned, some of the coffee grounds do get through, but if you let it settle and don't shoogle it all over the place, this isn't an issue. Even better is that I won't have to spend extra buying replacement glass for this one!

Es muy bonita y resistente. He usado muchas prensas francesas de cristal y esta, aunque es mucho más pesada, creo que aguantará más el uso frecuente. Hermosa. El filtro que baja con el émbolo queda a la perfección así que atrapa bien el café. Me encantó. El color es muy bonito. Creo que voy a comprar otra para cuando tenga visitas poder tener suficiente café.

The best French Press I've ever used! Once warmed up with some hot water, will stay warm for an exceptionally long time. Color is vibrant and the fit and finish are spot on. At capacity, this could make 4 cups of coffee at a time, although I usually make 1 or 2. I love that there are no plastic parts, and it is easy to disassemble and clean. The stoneware is heavy and sturdy, does not stain and does not absorb odors, and the design of this item exudes that same timeless sophistication that marks Le Creuset items. Makes an excellent hot cup of coffee, and looks damn good doing it. Anyone who has grounds in their coffee or hot water spurting up out of the spout need a lesson in using a French Press, because these are not design flaws of this unit, this thing is perfect. I expect that with a bit of proper care, this French Press will last me a lifetime. If you are considering buying this, do it now, you will love it!

Mir gefällt der Kaffeebereiter von Le Creuset sehr gut. Er ist funktional und hält den Kaffee etwas länger warm als in vergleichbaren Glaskannen. Und er tropft nicht. Empfehlenswert.
