Question 1

What foods can I cook on the Uniflasy Cast Iron Griddle?

Accepted Answer

The griddle is great for breakfast items, bacon, scallops, shrimp, and veggies. Its raised lip edge helps keep food in place, making it a versatile surface for smaller ingredients that might otherwise fall through standard grill grates.

Question 2

How do I prevent the cast iron griddle from rusting?

Accepted Answer

To help prevent rust: scrape the griddle after each use, brush or spray with oil before and after use, avoid letting condensation collect on the surface, and for long-term storage, coat it with cooking oil, wrap in a plastic bag, and keep it in a dry place.

Question 3

Does the griddle replace the existing grill grates on my Weber Traveler?

Accepted Answer

No, the griddle is designed to sit on top of your existing grill grates, not replace them. It covers half the grill surface so you can use both the griddle and the grill grates at the same time for added cooking flexibility.

Question 4

How do I clean the Uniflasy Cast Iron Griddle after cooking?

Accepted Answer

The griddle features built-in grease drainage holes that help make cleanup easier by channeling away excess oil. Scrape the surface after each use while it is still warm, and apply a light coat of oil to maintain the seasoning and protect the cast iron surface.

Question 5

Is this griddle compatible with my Weber Traveler Portable Gas Grill?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this griddle is designed to fit the Weber 9010001 Traveler Portable Gas Grill. It covers half the grill surface, letting you fry and sear foods while the other half remains available for grilling.
