Highly recommend it gives you an extra room outside
I love this gazebo. It really has been great place to sit under even when it’s raining. Saves my furniture out there. One of my cousins came and he put it up It took him probably three hours. I first saw this at my cousin‘s househe has a much larger one and I wish I could’ve taken a larger one, but the way my porch is shaped it would not allow me to do that add the larger one

Make sure you read this to prevent leaks!!
Took us about 8 hours to set up, mainly because of the rain! As one reviewer said, to prevent leaks make sure you’re paying attention to the weather stripping as you slide the K pieces (roof pieces) in. When you slide them in, it’s best to have one person on a ladder holding the strips in place so they aren’t pushed free and out of place. You can tell this is happening as the weather stripping will be hanging out and off the back (someone else had a great picture of the strip hanging free, make sure you check all the photos to see what I’m talking about). It had no issues with rain and it rained the whole day after I set it up!My only other warning is to make sure you buy better anchors; the anchors that came with it were super cheap and we ended up just running down to Home Depot and buying cement anchors there. You’re definitely going to want to use some combo of the wall and ground anchors to give it support and stability. We ended up using the wall anchors for the back and then the front post anchors, which was more than enough.

Great product for a great price!
I’ve never left a review, but with this purchase felt like I needed to just in case someone is having a hard time deciding, just like we were. With all the mixed reviews, we were extremely hesitant to try this pergola, but we really liked the look and it was the right size, 14x10, so we decided to buy it. We are very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend to others!Yes, it was a lot of work to put it together, but all the pieces were there and the instructions that came with the product were very clear and outlined everything step-by-step. Very easy to follow and all the pieces came together perfectly. Would recommend using a drill to tighten everything, as per some reviews, seems like not everyone does this. Also, anchoring all five legs and attaching the pergola to the house made it very sturdy. My husband and I completed the set up in about 7 hours or so and that was with a few breaks. No regrets on buying this pergola. A great purchase!

don't attempt this!!!!
Well, I took a chance and got what I hoped would not happen-First, there were multiple sites where the screw threads were not tapped. So, a trip to Lowe's, got the bit and threaded it myself. Missing half the washers, had some of those laying around. Six of the brackets should be at minimum, 15 degrees wider, which they aren't. Now I am tired of this project, decided to return it (I have to pay the return postage-such is life). Tomorrow, I'll go to the bracket shop and see what I can do with this monstrosity. Stay tuned, I am determined-I would rather try and figure out the brackets over paying the Lord knows how much for shipping. Unless you are ready for what should be a couple of hours project that turns into multiple trips to the hardware store, your odds and ends bin in the garage, and the awarding winning engineer who lives next door and hands out advice, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS! also, very stressful on the marriage if you have one that you want to keep intact. Otherwise, get this piece of headache, blame the marital collapse on the fact that life is too stressful and putting this gazebo thingy together just tipped you guys over the edge-best of luck!

Preassemble first and seal truss end caps with 1/4" 1x1" foam squares (not provided)
Just what we needed for our upper deck, had to make a few adjustments because it was not fit against a wall to mount and had to seal the wall side truss caps to prevent water leakage. It pays to preassemble all parts before final assembly, saves allot of time!

Decent Product - Terrible Customer Service
Overall we are pleased with the structure and look. It is sturdy and relatively easy to assemble if you have DIY experience. There are couple drips, but we have addressed that with caulk. Be advised the 18x8 pergola comes as a 10x8 and an 8x8. There is also a 2 foot section that is designed to connect the 2 sections. The finished pergola is 20x8. That worked for us but needs to be taken into consideration if your space is limited. The parts for the 2 sections are different sizes and finishes. There is supposed to be connecting pieces that join the different sizes, but our kit was missing this. We are also missing one of the roof panels. We have been in contact with the seller through Amazon since the day the product was delivered a month ago and are no closer to resolution. The customer service email provided did not receive a response after 5 attempts. Our 3 star rating is based more on the customer service than the product.

Perfect for me
What a great product! Need two people to assemble. Takes time. Good design. Sturdy. My only complaint is that the front angle is quite low. 6’2? 6’7? I forget… back is 8’.Super design. Super well constructed. Super price point!! Looks dark dark charcoal gray. Reads almost black.

Good Looking
Would give this a 5 star if it didn’t have leak areas. Followed instructions to a T, went together nicely. Just my husband and I put it up. Issue is it leaks on the support tubes. Possibly need intervention. If you do not mind stuff getting wet on a big downpour then it is perfect for you. We are okay with the leaks as our furniture is outdoor furniture. The look of it is really modern. Great comments from neighbors.
